Going to Japan? What should you pack? Here are 25 essential items you should pack when you are going to Japan! EXPAND DESCRIPTION FOR MORE INFO.
First what to put in your luggage:
1 – Shoes that are easy to take off – Many attractions like temples and restaurants require you take off your shoes — and socks that don’t look ugly since people will be seeing them. (Giveaway)

What tips do YOU have for packing for travel to Japan?
Thanks for the video, it was very helpful!
Q1 – yes
Yet another great travel video. Keep up the awesome videos! They are the perfect guide for what to expect when you are going somewhere!
Could you give a link of the duffel bag that you bought on Amazon for the Japan trip please. thanks. a lot.
Just wanted to add, if you are staying in a hostel, they, or the one I was in didn't supply any toiletries, other than toilet paper. So toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Just your basic hand soap for washing your hands, and our's supplied free washing detergent but you had to ask the counter.
Also, power adapters are needed if you intend to use a 3 prong plug in Japan, they are from what I've seen two prong outlets.
This is for whoever asked about a place to stay at in Narita. Narita U-City Hotel is my favorite to stay at in Narita. It's a business hotel but it's right by the Narita Station, so only one stop from the Airport. Internet is Super Fast in there and the rooms are very cozy. Really good prices and they offer shuttle service during the day to and from the airport. They have a pretty good breakfast and it's a nice walk to the temple from the hotel. Have always made my reservations there through Expedia and showing my printout during check in has always worked.
What is the best airport to fly into for shinjuku tokyo
Great tips! I have two questions though: 1) Can you send me a link of the duffel bag you bought on amazon? and 2) When is the best time of the year to go to Japan (months)? Btw Your vids are awesome! Keep up the good work! 👍🏻
Another great video mate, very helpful as we prepare to head out there soon. Please keep up the good work. Another thumbs up!
Ooh! I also had another question about Japan! Did you have to get any shots and vaccinations before you traveled there? If so, what shots and vaccinations did you get? What shots and vaccinations do you recommend before traveling to Japan?
They grind up their plastic and mix it in their road pavement.
Thanks Chris, that was excellent information and I’ll be sure to utilise those tips. Really love your channel, keep up the great work! 🙏🏻👍🏻
Have you ever made a video about packing tips? Would love to see your thoughts on luggage, compression gear, and maximizing the limited travel space. My wife and I tend to be chronic overpackers and we are trying to figure out the art of packing lighter (Though it's hard to convince the wife to take less clothes!!)
I like the neatness of your traveling style. Casual but neat.
Is it me or is that vulcan hand creepy…. lol
You’ve really sold us on visiting Japan. 👍🏻 It will be on our short list of places to visit after the pandemic.
Love your informational videos.
