We left Kyoto and journeyed to Hakone using the Japan’s super fast bullet trains, the Shinkansen. Visited the Hakone Open Air Museum by Picasso and ventured to our hotel in the famous lake district of Lake Kawaguchiko. It was our first time renting a car in Japan and driving on the right side but it wasn’t too hard to get used to. We splurged one night on our hotel here to have the best ryokan experience along with the traditional Kaiseki dinner. This is said to be the most beautiful place to see Mt. Fuji but since we arrived at night, we’ll have to wait till the morning to see if that’s true. Stay tuned!
