Ikuta Shrine （生田神社） is located in the Sannomiya ward in downtown Kobe City. It is a very important shrine for the local residents of Kobe City, specifically with the business community around Sannomiya ward.
Ikuta Shrine is larger than a typical city shrine, with a pond and a mini forest (wooded area) in the back of the shrine. The wooded area is full of interesting artificats and is believed to be an army camp during Ichinotani war.
