A little over a year ago I had the opportunity to travel to The Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho with my friend Kent. These are some of the scenes I got to witness and the resulting photographs!

Images were made on Kodak Portra 400 with my Mamiya RB67 and Mamiya 7ii Medium format film cameras.

  1. This was a mesmerizing video! What a beautiful nation. The largest enclave nation on the planet, I think! Great video, again. Cheers!

  2. The colors and those cosmos flowers, wow! I definitely agree that the landscape is the nicest picture you've shared 🤩This video inspired me to try for a bee photo on 4×5 at a local botanical garden!

  3. What a beautiful place! Thanks for sharing Will. I loved the bee photo. It’s great to see places that are different from what one has experienced. I look forward to a forthcoming video with context as to why you were there 😀. As always, cheers! Have a great day!

  4. I have to admit, I definitely ripped off the bee pic concept from you and went out among the flowers and chased a bunch of them down this spring. Not to worry, however, the shots wont be released because I left my RB lens in M (after disassembling it and fixing it), thus they are all blank and the flowers are now gone. haha! Maybe next year!

Love your stuff, Will. You're a massive inspiration.

  5. Flower 🌸 fields remind me my native Ukraine 🇺🇦 ✌️ Слава Україні! Смерть москалям

  6. I know it’s cliche, but DAMN that first waterfall shot (11:08). Great light depth and foreground, just a stunning shot Sheepskin! Thank you for showing us this beautiful country!

  7. Man the scenes were amazing out there were amazing, a true mountain kingdom! Bee shot was next level but my favorite had to have been the donkey hiding behind the log. #sheepsquad

  8. Thank you so much for uploading a new video so soon since the last one! It was such a nice surprise to find it pop up. You really inspired me to take my rb out and go places with it haha. Kinda funny/interesting you were so enamored with the cosmos flowers, as where I am (Japan) they are kind everywhere come the right season. Anyway, keep up the good work ans take care 🙂

  9. I was looking at these images thinking “these landscapes seem a bit heavy on the red or magenta” and then you explain exactly why. I can only imagine how amazing it looks to the eye when you’re there. The photos paint a great picture of the place though.

  10. This was an absolutely amazing video! I love that you keep adding bee photos to your portfolio!also that waterfall photo at 11:08 is my favorite!

  11. A bit surreal for me as a photographer from Lesotho….thank you for the kind words about our country

  12. Great video, amazing scenery… You captured it well! I love the flower photo's too. My favorite is the one without the flash 🙂

  13. 6:06 stunner! The weeping willows in the distance, the meandering river and the pops of pink in the foreground … * chef's kiss *

  14. I never heard of you before, but this video popped up in my recommended section. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I watched a video where I flabbergasted the whole time. Your photos are absolutely incredible! After each shot that you've put in I was just like: this guy doesn't miss does he? And it kept getting better 😂 The video and the photos also hit hard because I'm trying for weeks now to emulate the film look with digital files and was almost content with what I came up with – but after this video I just realized all my colors are absolute shit 🤣🤣

  15. You got some amazing footage and photographs here Will, thank you for sharing! And thank you for making us discover African countries through film photography (L.A. is cool but it's nice to see some other places too!).

  16. There’s a lot of cosmos pretty much all over Southern Africa. They were brought here in contaminated horse feed during Anglo Boer war.

You need to get out of Cape Town and visit more of South Africa.

  17. The only thing that warms my heart more than the return of Willy’s videos is seeing him reply to virtually every comment. It was such an endearing thing to see when I was binging Will’s old videos, and I’m glad to see the tradition is still alive

  18. Bru, i’m worried about that TV set on the edge of that stand. 😅

  19. This is such a fantastic Video and the photos are amazing!! Always ♥‿♥ your content. Greets and all the best!

  20. Loved seeing the cuts from iPhone shots to your film frames, it gave me a better understanding of your use of curves. Obviously, your photographic technique is incredible as a whole, but as I'm sure you're aware, people are extremely drawn to your expertise with regard to colour. I'd love to see another video diving deep into your scanning and conversion/grading process. Incredible to see you healthy and able to your work again!
