The Japan Project

The creation of this work is my love song for Japan.
Countless kilometers traveled and places visited, fantastic places and unique people. Wherever I was, I tasted the love for this land and for this splendid people, which in a short time made me fall in love with every little gesture.
Culture, tradition, innovation, all perfectly blended. It wasn’t difficult to find the inspiration for the creation of this video because wherever I went, I always found some source of inspiration.
Fourteen days around the country, in our routine, despite the pain in our legs and back for the many kilometers traveled every day, were nothing compared to the curiosity and satisfaction that each place offered.
We left as nineteen strangers, we returned as a fantastic group of friends and with many suitcases full of memories.

At the beginning of the trip I was sure I was taking my camera with me, but I wasn’t sure what I was going to do or how I was going to do it. I wanted to film everything, as much as possible, street style, freehand.
In the end I found myself in hand a tribute to Japan, its land and its people. Situations of daily life.
I invested a lot of time in editing, experimented, inspired by master Dalessandri’s great Watchtower works.
All freehand, with a single camera body and a single lens.
It is by far my most complex and ambitious project, to which I have dedicated all of myself, without sparing myself.
