On my first day in Osaka, Nishida-san and her daughter Eri-chan took me to lunch at Harukas, the tallest building in Japan. The view was absolutely incredible.

For those of you wondering, Skytree and Tokyo Tower are taller, but classified as towers.

  1. I think I've literally seen all your videos. Hopefully we can connect whenever I visit Osaka.

  2. Your videos have helped me stay motivated in learning japanese hope you have fun in Japan and keep up the good work

  3. I just stumbled upon your YouTube channel and watched all of your videos. Your frustration of not being able to communicate your gratitude your first trip resonated with me. I moved to Japan about 6 months ago and while I had been studying Japanese a few years before coming, I never tried to really speak until I got here (oof lol) And so the frustration occurs daily but it also motivates me. So so happy to see how far you've made it. I'm excited to see where you go! Though I'm in inaka, my life here has been exciting and wondrous and challenging and not always easy but so very worth it. Cheers to all of the experiences you have awaiting you!

  4. I am so happy for you and how far you came! Looking forward to more videos of you starting out in Japan! Maybe vlogs? How a typical day looks like for you? Anyways, I hope you have a great time!!
