Brand New Park opened next to Central World in Bangkok. The Pathumwananurak Park already finished in 2018, but 2 houses stayed in the park and could not be removed till this year January. สวนปทุมวนานุรักษ์

Now the Park has a soft openeing. Every day from 10 am till 6 pm. A great Green Park in Central Bangkok.

I had a quick chat with @JWINTHAI check out his channel.

  1. Thanks for the heads-up that this park is finally open, Jeroen. Looks like a great place to camp out – and I would be in peace from 6 pm in the evening… 🙂

  2. ไปถ่ายคลองผดุงกรุงเกษม ไห้ดูด้วยน่ะครับ โซนนางเลิ้ง👍

  3. Wonderful and an amazing Park. Such as Paradise Park in Bangkok. 🌷🌷🌿🌿 Strategy located in Central city and very easy to connect with Public transportation ♥️♥️

  4. It's a great location for a park! And a great idea to build a house in the middle of a park….Volkspark, here I come!!!

  5. I feel like I am always revisiting Bangkok watching your videos, it's awesome and inspirational! I think raw footage is good as you can hear the sound of the city as if you were there. No need for fancy editing all the time 🙂

  6. Thanks for the walk around. Was wondering what was going on with it, as we would always walk by it over the years & it was closed.

  7. I love the way you filmed this Park, beautiful as well as the park itself.

  8. I'm coming to Thailand for two weeks next week and am toying with the idea of not going to the south but staying in Krung Thep, why not. there is much to see and even more to do.

  10. I can pick out a Dutch English accent a mile away. Great new park. BKK needs more spaces like this.

  11. After so many years of planning and hard work, its incredible to see all the parks taking shape in Bangkok. I hope that they can build more and more green spaces for people to enjoy.

  12. Bangkok still need more park partucular in the central of this big city. Thank you for your update of this new park.

  13. Nice video! Also, please DO NOT feed the fish in the park. Thanks! 🙏🏽

  14. I saw this park awhile ago from the footbridge . I thought the little blue farmers hut surrounded by his ‘wild garden’ was a brilliant deliberate design decision ! The contrast between it and the surrounding municipal landscape I thought was the best thing about the entire space . I’m sorry it’s gone .

  15. Glad this park is finally Opened! I was wondering why I saw ppl Maintaining a Closed Park back in January and was frustrated lol! Now I know why!
BKK has more public parks than ever before =)!

  16. Phatu….what?😂😂😂😂
Thank you, you always update us on the latest news of the city, a park was perfect in this area, congratulations to Thailand which has always valued green areas and, Jeroen, the parts with drone and music I would watch them for hours and hours❤

  17. Ah, a sneakpeek at what Jwinthai looks like🤪 The park looks great, I remember walking past it so many times in the past years, always closed🫠

  18. Bangkok will never be NYC! I’m tired of the comparisons because the vibes and landscape will never be the same. Somehow people love name their shops, restaurants, and other landmarks after places they never been or understand.

Thai culture can never stand on it’s own merit, they must compare and copy from other countries. Try being yourself. I know it’s hard because you’re easily influenced and most follow people/trends to be cool. The easiest influenced people on the planet for sure.

I worked for Central Park Conservancy and these are the facts. 840 acres (340 hectares) and extends between 59th and 110th streets (about 2.5 miles [4 km]) and between Fifth and Eighth avenues (about 0.5 miles [0.8 km]).

  19. When I hear people 'squatting' in places like Bangkok I year people are trying to make a living…. The wage gap is way too big…. I wonder how many lives were drastically changed for the good of the wealthy?

  20. "A nice way to get out of the heat"…you mean this park is cooler than the air-conditioned malls and office buildings in the area 🤔

  21. Wow! An amazing green sanctuary in the midst of the concrete jungle! Never knew this is here….Thanks for the video!

  22. It'll be great if Pratunam Pier is move to here or at least has a decent under the bridge walkway to here & Platinum Mall

  23. Wow if they turned this park into a mini Shibuya styled area with neon lights, shops, and night markets, it’d be world famous! Can you imagine how cool that would be alongside the klong in afternoon?
