The drive starts on Green Road Minami Aso, which runs through the south side of Aso caldera outer lim and goes down to the bottom of the caldera. Then the car goes up to the Aso Sanjo Terminal and enters Mt. Aso Park Road, which runs to Nakadake No.1 Crater and is only opened when the volcanic activity subsides. After visiting the volcanic crater, The car goes down to the Aso city and ends at Aso Station Intersection.
