Back in September last year, I had some free time in Frankfurt between flights, and naturally went looking to see if there were any interesting planes I could fly on.
Lo and behold, I found just that on one of Condor’s many flights to Palma de Mallorca, Spain! Condor still operates some of the rare Boeing 757-300, of which only 55 were built, and I knew I had to take the opportunity to try the world’s longest single-aisle airliner!

CORRECTION: The Douglas DC-8-73 is the longest single-aisle plane at 187.4 feet – the 757-300 is 178 feet. The 757-300 is still the longest single-aisle plane currently carrying passengers today though!
sounds like you need breeding – Daddy can help
Seams like to me that the 757 is more of a 707 replacer than a 727 replacer.
And what really replaced the 727 was the 737 classic. (not to be confuced with the OG).
I flow a 757 non stop over the Atlantic (both ways).. it was .. not optimal
I remember us making wing ribs for 757s here in Melbourne Australia – yonks ago!
My first ever flight on an Air Liner was a 757-200 operated by Monarch from Manchester to Las Palmas (Gran Caria). It's been my favourite airliner ever since.
11:46 – that is equivalent to pulling out on a road with the accelerator to the floor ππNo lining up and waiting. Just full power from the taxi way and turn on to the runway π
Where can I see what you look like?
I've flown on that 50th anniversary special some 12 years ago from Frankfurt to Halifax! Neat!
I love the buzz saw sound but not when my fridge is making it! Truth! πππ
Delta has quite a few in service. Definitely a strange aircraft… So long!
So that means you're medicated…I mean vaccinated…
Great video ! Thanks
I still remember my second time flying, when I was sentient, since I was a toddler my first time. I got SO scared when the pilots turned the thrust from TOGA to Climb mode cuz I thought our engines had broken π Now I'm a aviation enthusiast and I've learned how to fly multiple airliners in MSFS
Hey Alex! Whens the next upload?
Condors 757s are a staple of my childhood, I spent many hours on them. Flying on the "Wir lieben fliegen" 757 (also named "Willi") was a core memory for me and my last Condor 757 flight was in 2021 on D-ABOA, which also served as the prototype and first-built 757-300. It's sad to see them being retired, but I'm glad to have had the experiences I managed to get with these beautiful pencils π
5:36 I've never heard that drastic a sound when the power reduction happens on climb!
Boeing must be kicking themselves up the @rse scrapping the 757 tooling and flogging the the 737 to death! The 757 would have been the best option for future development, High engine ground clearance, Stretch or shorten it and it is so pretty compared to a pig ugly 737 IMO.
I live in the flight path of ORF and have multiple daily treats of Delta 757-200's to and from ATL. Of course, I don't have to step out and look to identify due the singing RR's announcing the flyover. The 757's replaced MD88's on this workhorse route and I don't miss the multiple rocket launches to ATL at all. Great planes, but may they rest in peace (and quiet). Boeing had the right idea in replacing the equally or more noisy 727, but too bad they cut the 757 and 717's lives way too short.
This was my first jet I flew on! Really wanna try and fly it again
Great video! I hope to be able to make content like yours!
757 still way better than any Airbus 320 families and 737s
Great vid π more Condor 757 flights on my channel π
Hello, just subscribed, cool channel. Just a question:
How do you get away with filming while walking across aprons to aircraft or general filming around airports without someone saying something to you?
I live in New Zealand and several years ago made a flight from Auckland to Queenstown onboard an A320. As soon as I got off the plane at Queenstown, the scenery was too good to pass up so I just started filmed and got yeld at by a ramp agent. Mind you it was an obvious bulky Canon EOS600.
Would appreciate your response

ALEX!! First time viewer!! I just subscribed!! I always wondered what the AC JETZ logo meant when I was sitting in the first class lounge @ YYZ!! I really miss flying and enjoyed your channel today. I have to tell you that I had the "distinct pleasure" as a employee of SHELL GLOBAL to fly back and forth to Dubai from YYZ for 5 amazing years, first class, on EMIRATES A-380!! Truly an amazing adventure!! It was a "TOTAL" revelation of how "the other half travels"!! The people, the lounges, the staff, the food and the wonderful EMIRATES staff who were incredible and understood what "first class" meant and they had it down pat!! I retired 5 years ago and have not flown since!! This video whet my appetite to pursue a new adventure this summer!! I will continue to watch your video's and thanks for your efforts!! Greetings from Canada !! GIDDYUP!!
