  1. Wow the water color there looks awesome, we have been in Greece now during May and the weather has been the same here. A very cool wind on many days which kind of makes it a bit too cold for the beach. The wind has been nuts some days though around 40 – 60 km/h. We came to Greece the same time last year and it was pretty much just warm the entire time.

  2. Why some lakes/lagunes/salines are pink, there is a good answer to that on the Youtube channel Atlas Pro (video named "Why Is This Lake PINK?"). It is combination of halophile algae Dunaliella salina (which turns orange) and of halophilic archaeon bacteria Halobacterium salinarum (which turns to reddish purple) that both do well in water with great salinity and many sunshine above. Average of these orange and purple colours mixes in pink to see with our eyes. Some shrimps then eat those algae and bacteria, flamingos eat these shrimps and therefore flamingos are pink as well.

  3. Hi Gabriel, this island reminds me of your Greek trips to those islands' nice beaches. I see that if you had stayed in Benidorm you would have experienced some major flooding. Those pink beds of water are sea salt beds as in Bonaire from what you mentioned also called pink Himalayan salt that salt is only found in the foothills mined in Pakistan, but it does have the same color.

  4. Hi Gabe, you were in Benidorm…..today it is raining there like the Niagara Falls…unbelievable….the Streets are now Rivers…can you believe it? You have luck when you visit this Area.

  5. Australia, Spain… "Yawners"… Can't wait for Gabriel to go to places like Papua New Guinea, China, Russia, Zambia, North Korea, Central Asia, Mongolia, Sudan, Congo, Mayanmar, Eritrea, Laos, etc… where most of his fans are really interested in…

  6. "don't stand on these dodgy cliffs" – stands a foot away from the precipice… omg the second 'pathway' along the cliff was even worse total madness haha

  7. Formentarian fisherman: Hey that guy's messing with my boat!

Tourist: No that's just Gabe, he's filming his signature "walking reverse intro" scene.

    🤣🤣😮

  8. Gabe, if you go to Ibiza, go to the NORTH, it’s beautiful. Unspoilt and lots of quaint, little, rural villages to explore. San Carlos you’d love and is a must and there’s a real hippy, bohemian vibe. The south is the party area, but, the north is world’s apart from it .

  9. Hi Gabriel Formentera I think we will visit we go to Ibiza in 3 weeks
If you do a Ibiza blog recommend a visit to top of the Dalt Villa 👍

  10. Gabe – some things just are not worth the risk doing for the reward gained. Walking that close to the cliff’s edge has absolutely zero reward when you can see the same shit 10 foot back.😂😂😂. Hate to lose my favorite YouTuber over something stupid

  11. Gabriel at his best! Love the content, look forward to your upcoming adventures.

  12. I think you found the most beautiful part of the island on the peninsula! When you were walking the cliff edges my heart stopped 😂! Another great video thanks Gabriel! ~Cara 😊

  13. 20:00 — First lingo at top of sign is Español, si! Your guess was correct.
Din-din at end of this video looked scrumptious.
    🐷 Porkie-poo, I love you! 🐷
Prices aren't cheap in Spain, are they? Thank Heavens you are beating the summer tourist rush. Smart move, that one.
I eternally marvel at your ability to do what you do, Gabriel, go where you go, find the accommodations you do, dine so well, and generally manage to survive, being as peripatetic as you are!

  14. Gabriel Traveler: At 4:23 is a salt flat (a salistral or salistrero). They produce salt crystals by evaporating the enclosed highly salinated waters from the sea.

  15. Really nice video but the beaches have a lot of rocks which personally I do not like

  16. Thanks for the upload place is beautiful hidden paradise anyone looks close to the cliffs ancient formation might be a good place to scuba dive later 😎👍

  17. Man watching those cliff side shots on a big screen made me dizzy. 😅

  18. Its funny how places in completely different parts of the world can look so similar. I could have sworn i had been to that light hose area, but in Australia. Haha.

  19. Thanks for showing those places so i don't have to go visit myself.
I don't care enough for sea, beach and
islands to go visit and with your videos my curiosity is forfilled.
Mountains and forests is where it's at for me.

  20. Greetings from the north of switzerland. Looks like there, just the ecaxtly opposite

  21. Another fantastic video of an amazingly beautiful place. The Balearic Islands along with the Greek islands are my absolute favorite islands in all the world! They’re also very similar from a geographic and climate standpoint. Lots of beautiful beaches and rocky cliffs and some of the most amazing and crystal clear turquoise water anywhere in the world imo.

  22. Formentera is the best beach island in Europe, I believe. Like you said: the vibe and the color of the water! The seaweed is normal btw. That's why the water on Formentera is so clear: the seaweed on the ocean ground is cleaning it. The winds and rough seas in the fall and winter bring the seaweed up and then its protects the beach from the rough winter weather. Speaking about weather: just coming back from the Cyclades … also lots of clouds and rain compared to other years.

  23. Scientists monitoring the seaweed aka sargassum seaweed algae which is predicted to have a record year in 2023. Caribbean and Florida to get biggest amounts but the Med also in line. El nino which is expected this year facilitates the large quantities.
