You’ve probably seen some posts about Kitan Yakiniku here on our page. Today we had a memorable experience in their new restaurant, in Hozenji, Osaka.
The restaurant now has two floors. The first floor will offer a Wagyu course starting on the 15th of April, where the owner of the restaurant, Hiro San, will cook for the guests. The second floor are private rooms for Yakiniku courses. Today we had a private room and enjoyed a delicious course with Matsusaka Wagyu and Miyazaki Wagyu.
This was a 1 month Dry Aged Matsusaka Wagyu Striploin prepared to us by Hiro San. The cut was impressively delicious with the perfect balance of beef and marbling, creating a flavor explosion in our mouths. In this meal we had many other delicious cuts, and will share it here on the next few days.
For you planning to visit Japan, save this post and create a folder for Osaka. We’ll share much more about this restaurant, which is always surprising us with their creations!

That’ll be $200 for that steak, wagyu is no joke. Costco sells them $120 for 2 ribeye steaks.
Please don't trim… I'll take it as it
