Xiong’an New Area is a new economic zone located in Hebei Province, China. It was established in April 2017 and covers three counties: Xiongxian, Rongcheng, and Anxin.
The development of Xiong’an aims to relieve the population pressure in Beijing, promote coordinated development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and build a world-class city cluster.
Xiong’an is planned to be a green, smart, and sustainable city, with a focus on technology, innovation, and environmental protection. The area will feature advanced transportation systems, modern infrastructure, and high-quality public services.
In conclusion, Xiong’an New Area is a significant development project in China, with the potential to become a leading economic and technological hub in the future.

“Ghost” city is a missonym XiongAn. A ghost city is an once occupied but abundant city. This is a future city, built, but unoccupied. It’s people free. There is no English word for it as it has never happened in the west. It’s time to invent one. City implies dwellers. What do you call a place that has buildings and infrastructure but no dwellers (thus no ghosts as it never been occupied), and traffics? It’s a people free city.

Not one soul in sight! This is what happens when the people have no voice, so the government can waste the money raised from it citizens. The bosses of the construction companies live in luxury, while the lives of the people will be poorer.
