A long time ago nearly 500 people lived on Mt. Kubote to abstain from worldly pleasures. It’s known as the “500 monk mountain” and is a government designated historical site. I climbed the Demon stone steps from the local folk tale. Let’s go hiking in Japan! 求菩提山登山!
