Have you ever tried oliebollen? It's a Dutch delicacy, usually served during New Year's Eve and New Year. On a side note this looks amazing too, another thing to add to my wishing to eat list 😅❤

That Looks very scrumptious and very oishi Shinichi you know that reminds me you know what those remind me of you take one very interesting guess but just in case you don't know I'll tell you anyhow it's without a doubt these deep fried balls of happiness and deliciousness well known simply as hush puppies which are deep-fried cornmeal batter dipped snacks oh I just love them so much every so often I eat those as a fulfilling snack that fills me up nice and toasty I always go to my local seafood restaurant drive-thru and get some of those little bundles of joy and there was this one time when I was a little kid back in the day I used to go with my stepdad to my local grocery store supermarket and I got a batch of hush puppies from their seafood station section I can't quite remember what the aisle used to be for it of where it was located in and they were very tasty as well they were the very first hushpuppies I ever ate growing up when I was younger oh my goodness how simply amazing and irresistible I just simply can't resist these edible delicate thingies it's very tasty salty savory and packed with very lovely umami flavor 👍😎😁🇺🇸🇯🇵✨🏆

They remind me of the flour equivalent of what we'd call hush puppies in the southern US. Although those are cornmeal.
