My brother texted Saturday morning. Lives in the Bloor West area. Said it was raining and fog in Toronto. (Sunny of course where I was in other parts of Doug Ford's Ontario). Suggested since it was a day slightly awry to go for afternoon brews at a pub or two. They took me up on the idea. They ended up at the Wheatn'Sheaf till they needed something stronger like a cock tail, later on. Just sent him this video. When you scootered down Yonge saw The Rosedale Diner is still there. Bit surprised. At Yonge as you hit Marlborough, the building to your right used to be CBC Channel 5. Back in the day, Steve Paikin was the news anchor. Replaced by a very pretty lady named Beth Harrington who was equally as good when Steve bolted to TVO.
