Kathmandu Nepal – Join me on a walk through the city to the famous “monkey temple”. I always enjoy walking in a new city, as that gives me an opportunity to actually see something from the city. I was curious to see some local neighborhoods here in Kathmandu, so instead of taking a taxi to the monkey temple, which is officially called Swayambhu, I decided to walk.

My hotel in Kathmandu (highly recommend)

I am Ken Abroad, a full-time traveler traveling southeast Asia, east Asia and south Asia. It is my goal here on the channel to visit every country in these Asian regions and bring you along the journey.
You wonโ€™t see many tourist places in my videos, I rather like to show the โ€œrealโ€ sides of each country in my videos. Where do the local people go to eat? Where do they hang out? How do the locals travel through the country? Stuff like that.

  10. Most of the pani puri and chatpate seller are from india๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ they will scammed you bro so be aware

  11. the Indian businessmen like pani puri walas and fruit sellers are mostly scammers. please stay out from them.

28:00 Reminded me of when you visited the Batu Cave Temple and greeted the monkeys, "Hello, apa khabar."๐Ÿ˜‚

  15. Those people who scam on you are all indians . I request metropolitan police to kick them out from the country.

  16. Could you do a q&a? Curious about your life, your college before traveling , future plans but also practical stuff like washing your clothes, or what stuff you pack. Maybe we can leave some questions on your next video. Really liked this video!

  17. These parents should actually teach these children not to beg for money when they see any foreign guest visiting our country unless they want to do so willingly, they have contributed enough to our country since the initial land.

Since theres no fault in kids but begging for money reflects bad impression. Just implying the bad practices in our country that has been passed from generation to generation.

Metropolitan should introduce policies rules and regulation with mandatory displaying of prices by any sellers falling under the tourist locations, areas so that transparencies can be maintained and to eradicate scamming to our guests. Also can mobilize metropolitan police in civil dress

We want they have good experience and fun.. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

  18. Namaste Ken. Such a nice vlogโฃ Your videos are always like a mini vacation, if you know what I mean. And this vlog was extra long๐Ÿ˜Š. Thanks for showing us around. Made my day.

  19. While buying anything, first ask for price and if you feel expensive just walk away, they will try to negotiate with but don't buy it will still be expensive.

And most fruits vendor or any street vendors, they usually does to Nepalese people as well.

  20. Sorry Ken but I have to say it – the hat has got to go – have you noticed you are the only one wearing that kind of hat (at least on the videos) – it just doesn't work for you. Entschuldigung, aber es ist nicht gut ๐Ÿ˜‚
