Great video. I have stayed in plenty of business hotels, and they really do have everything a person needs.I found that love hotels often offered a lot more space for not much more money.
Great video. How about doing a special on Hotel for a family of 4 or 5 ppl ie. 2 adults and 3 children.
Business hotels usually are the best deals in the large cities. And usually there are many choices near the stations. Which is usually a big factor in choosing a place to stay, unless you enjoy long walks at the end of the day
This time im 5 nights APA near Asakusa, 2 nights Keio Plaza in Shinjuku, and 1 night dont know yet…Maby Love Hotel 😀
Coming November and December most hotel are fully booked . I have reserved rooms near Tokyo station ($1100)and Shibuya station ($1900)but still can’t decide which to choose Can you advice which area is more suitable for family with teenagers. the price are different by US$800 for 4nights .
This will be my first time actually staying in hotels when I go back to Japan in February! The hotel prices were SO cheap in Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka that I cancelled my airbnb because I feel like hotels just offer more security + cleanliness + guaranteed private bath/shower!
Thanks again for the great videos KenChan!
Thank you.🙏👍
where do you think is the best area to stay in Tokyo? I’m thinking ginza for march next year.
Which hotels has private onsen? In Tokyo?
When you want to save money on your trip to Japan, capsule hotels are the best choice. Japan is a safe country, so you can rest well even in inexpensive hotels. You can use the money you save for transportation and sightseeing.
Hi can you please share the name of the Ryokan with the private bath? Thank you!
Exceptional video , can’t wait to come in April!
Really informative video!
In my travels to Japan, i always stay at star business or small hotels (18 to 20 Sq meters) 11 is way too small especially when traveling with someone.
I also choose a hotel close to jr station and if not a metro station. I don't worry about free breakfasts in Japan because part of the fun is to eat at different places.
If you have laundry, you can always find a place nearby to save some money.
One thing I'm disappointed in Japanese hotels is lack of fitness facilities or those that have them charge an arm and a leg.
Can a 16 years old minor tourist make reservations?
Hi Kenchen would you please review more hotel in asakusa thank you
Thank you very much for this insightful info 👍
When I was first in Japan in 2014, in Tokyo I stayed for a week at the Maruchu hotel, it was cheap and verry nice and clean. In Kyoto, I stayed at the Gojo guest house annex, it was so perfect. In Osaka I stayed in a capsule hotel, it was a very interesting and fun experience.
Interesting video. Was searching for hotels in Tokyo for my upcoming short trip for 3 days. This video is really giving a good information about selection of hotel.
Me and my friend are going to book hotels starting from today so this video is really helpful, however I'd like to know if hotels in japan (excluding ryokan and capsule hotels) charge per person or per room.
Other than that our base of operations will probably be in Yurakucho or Akihabara but I'm also thinking of Ueno.
Thank you for the wonderful video as always.
Thank you for informing me about Rakuten travel …..btw how will be the temperature in Tokyo at the end of may…..very excited to be able to go to japan again and trying capsule hotel 🤩
