  1. You donโ€™t know what Gilden houses are? A Gilden house is an old kind of company house. In the early days an occupation like a leather worker would unite them selves in a Gilde. That Gilde guarded the quality of the profession and only if you were good enough you could become a part of it. Of course you had to pay for it too. With that collected money those Gilden houses were built.

  2. It was a joy to see how Belgium's culinary delights brought so much pleasure to both of you.

  3. HELLO ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿ˜‹ Is I'm commenting ALL MY FAVS THANK U MUCH โค

  4. The guild houses were the headquarters of the different professions, aka guilds, during the (approximately) 1100s to 1800s. The guilds were extremely powerful and usually very rich.

  5. So cute seeing and hearing you react to the Grand-Place! Meanwhile I grew up in Brussels and whenever I have to walk through the Grote Markt I donโ€™t ever look up anymore ๐Ÿ˜‚
One thing I always note as a big difference between friet in Belgium and the Netherlands is that Dutch mayonnaise is always so much sweeter so I prefer Belgian mayonnaise! Glad you had a nice trip and enjoyed yourselves ๐Ÿ˜Š

  6. Love Aux Merveilleux de Fred! Not Belgian though. It is from Lille, France ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท

  7. I have that Orval glass. No idea why; I recall someone bringing one back for me from Belgium. I drink German wheat beer out of it….

  8. Satoshi and his beer. I love it!! Thanks for another great video!! You guys are AWESOME!!!๐Ÿ˜

  9. It's called Kriek because it's made from cherries, dutch translation being kriek. Not sure why that was such a weird thing to your friend.

  10. FYI, Aux Merveilleux is not from Belgium. They originated in Lille, north of France, and have been so successful that they now have stores in NYC, Canada and even Tokyo! They're so light and delicious!

  11. You guys should check out a brewing monastery if you get a chance.

  12. Aaaah!! Whenever my husband and I visit Brussels, Aux Merveilleux de Fred is the first thing we visit. We frequently dream about their brioche. Loved seeing it appear in this video ๐Ÿคญโค
