【4K🇯🇵】Fastest review of the cafeteria at Yokohama Shinko Government Building, which opens today!

At the end of March 2023, the Yokohama Shinko Government Building was completed in the Block 9 of the Minato Mirai 21 district.
Today, May 22, about two months after its completion, the entrance and cafeteria were secretly opened to the public, and we would like to review them immediately!
This location is about a 14-minute walk from JR Sakuragi-cho Station, halfway between Yokohama World Porters and the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.

The facility will house 15 diverse government offices dispersed throughout Yokohama, which will be relocated one after another.

“Shinko Deck” is located on the second floor of the facility along the waterfront promenade.
It is a rooftop space with many tables and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the view.

In front of the building, construction of the Special Urban Revitalization District (Kaigan Dori District) was underway. The 100-meter-high complex is scheduled for completion in 2027.
The historical “Yokohama Yusen Building” will be used as a hotel.
When completed, the view from here will be even better.

The cafeteria is located on the first floor and can be entered from either the north or south entrance.
There are three choices of lunch: A, B, and noodles.
Noodles are 400 yen per serving. Lunch B, “Salmon teriyaki koku-uma don” is 580 yen, and the most expensive lunch A is 710 yen.
Since I was in the mood, I had Lunch A, a special menu item to commemorate the opening of the restaurant.
The restaurant does not have a meal ticket system, but rather, you pay directly at the counter.
Credit cards, PASMO and other electronic payment methods are accepted.
The food is served in disposable containers instead of using tableware, as if takeout is the premise of the restaurant.
It was hot today, so I ate in the air-conditioned cafeteria, but if the weather is more comfortable, it would be pleasant to eat on the Shinko Deck on the second floor or at the Shinko Chuo Square.
The lunch menu changes daily. In addition to noodles, they are planning to add curry and other dishes to their meal repertoire in the future.
The diner is open only on weekdays from 11:00 to 14:00. It is recommended for those who live or work in the neighborhood as it is inexpensive, tasty, and a hole in the wall with few people!
