【佐柳島】日本
佐柳島は香川県仲多度郡多度津町に属する島であり、面積は1.83㎢、周囲は6.6kmです。2021年時点の人口は60人弱です。この島で人気のある名物の一つは、堤防の切れ目を飛ぶ猫です。ネコが堤防から堤防へジャンプして飛び移る様子が、観光客に人気となっています。
【猫島のルール】
猫島では以下のルールを守るようお願いしています
・食べ物などのゴミは持ち帰りましょう。
・家の敷地内に入って撮影するのはやめましょう。
・エサは一回で食べ切れるよう少しずつ与えましょう（ゴミにならないように）。
・道の真ん中でエサを与えることは危険ですので避けましょう。
【宿泊施設：ネコノシマホステル＋喫茶ネコノシマ】
ネコノシマホステル＋喫茶ネコノシマは、かつて1954年に建てられた木造校舎を利用した宿泊施設です。
部屋は以下の4種類があります：
資料室＆図工室「the DATA & the DRAWING」
1名から最大3名まで利用可能な個室です。トイレ・シャワーは室内にはありませんので、離れにある共用施設をご利用ください。3名での利用の場合、1台がエクストラベッドになります。料金はお一人様5,500円（税込）で、定員は1〜3名です。
図書室＆理科室「the LIBRARY & the SCIENCE」
1名から最大4名まで利用可能な個室です。トイレ・シャワーは室内にはありませんので、離れにある共用施設をご利用ください。4名での利用の場合、2台がエクストラベッドになります。料金はお一人様5,500円（税込）で、定員は1〜4名です。
また、トイレ・シャワー棟「the TOILET & SHOWER」も利用できます。ドミトリーと個室の室内には洗面、トイレ、シャワーの設備はありませんので、共用のトイレ・シャワー棟をご利用ください。トイレは全て温水洗浄機能付きです。シャワー室には洗面台とドライヤーも備えられています。詳細についてはスタッフにお尋ねください。

As I watch more and more things on Japan and an avid watcher of NHK World I've noticed Japan is a cat country. Japan seems to favor cats far more than dogs. Whenever I see a dog they are cruelly chained on inhumanely short chains with barely any room to even lay down comfortably, why even have a dog if they're going to be treated so badly I always wonder. But still, even tho I being a dog person (love cats too but very ER allergic to them) I do love Japan.

At first, I thought, "She already went to Cat Island. Why is she going back?" But this is not the same place. I guess Japan has more than one.
This would be the ultimate "getting away from it all" vacation! A tiny island with a tiny population. The hotel is a former elementary school. Very quiet. Beautiful ocean views. As long as you like cats.😹
