So we’re tightening our shoelaces, loosening our waistbands and spending the entire day walking from bite to bite to see which parts live up to the hype. Let’s get to it.

ABOUT US
We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience—up close and in person—all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. We think it’s a better way to learn and we’re working hard to fund this little experiment in the hope that our kids will grow up wiser, kinder, and more grateful for the beauty of our diverse planet and its people.

For a family that will eat anything that doesn't bite them first, that was certainly a great day.
I love your mini commercials guys !Good job👍🏼
AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN, GUYS NO SKIPPING OF ADS PLEASE. 😊😊 I seldom eat beef (because I eat beef burgers only lols). But when Erin and kids started eating kobe beef, oh miiii. It seems that it is delicious. What about the sashimi, that's raw right? Haven't tried eating raw fish. How does it taste?
What a great episide! Such a variety of delicious food that EVERYONE had a different favorite… What a beautiful family
You get a perfect score indeed !! Travel to enjoy unique food experiences…nailed it with this episode Lockwoods!

Been following you guys for a while, like your videos! I was surprised when Phil said he grew up in Indiana. I grew up in Indiana as well and I currently live in Colorado. Wish I traveled more!
Hands down the best family vlog there is on YT. 🙌 Zero boring moments and so informative. You guys obviously did your homework whichever country you chose to visit. Your channel is so underrated and you deserve to reach a million subscribers by the end of this year.

First time going to Japan later this year and we'll be touching down on Osaka first! Cannot wait to try the local streetfood! 😀

いちご飴より八百屋の高級イチゴの方が栄える
I'm so happy I found this channel. Every single episode is just quality. I wonder though, who writes the narrative? It's always so creative!
There are no trash cans because you were supposed to put them in your pocket and take it home 🙂
2:59 same Erin, same. when i was in Japan, i was so confused as to how the streets remain so clean despite no trashcans? turns out that it's just culture to carry the trash home or wherever u may find a bin. I guess by making it inconvenient to throw stuff, it discourages littering in a sense? it makes you more mindful I suppose
honestly i need their mind tricks in my country cos we have a serious littering problem here
Thanks for showing us Japan through your eyes, and some of the good eats too. Yay on the mini commercial too…. Erin didn't disappoint with another Lucille Ball moment at the end. Blessings Lockwoods.
In Japan you need to bring your own trash home, it goes for tourists too. Not the most convenient when you are day traveling/visiting, but the rules apply to all. There are recycle bins though inside the subway. We ended up using the trash in public toilet. Also it's not very well appreciated in their culture to have people eating on the street, especially walking and slurping your drink or leaking your ice cream. I guess also that by going to a restaurant you don't have to carry your trash. We just were there few weeks ago for Sakura and experienced the same things you guys are doing. We loved Japan!
Loved it❤️ hope you guys are doing well, God bless.😊
are you still in Japan? it would be nice if you'll collab with the ahern family they just arrived in japan.
Enjoy 😊 y’all ❤I’ve been watching your videos for a long time now, but I still can’t figure out who is Regan 🤔Stay safe
We watched this twice now! We are living in Japan but still, you made us crave for japanese food. Now, my girlfriend is craving for takoyaki and I have to drive and get it for her. 🐙
