Join us for our first day at Disneyland Tokyo where we learnt so many things that will help you if you are planning to visit in the future.
We started the day learning the process to enter the park and once in make reservations for your favorite rides, restaurants, and shops!
Next, we discovered the differences between some of the classic rides at Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland in Japan.
We also found some rides that are unique to this park, one left Maxine Speechless.
We experienced the different food and snack options and show you how to order, some of the food is very different to the USA parks.
Overall, we learnt so much that we wish we had known before we arrived, but that will make the visit on the second day much smoother.

  1. Great vlog!! Always wanted to go to all the parks around the world, beauty and the beast wow!! Would love to go and ride that, it’s my favourite Disney movie too xx ❤❤

  2. Went to TDL 6 years ago. You REALLY notice a difference in the guests. No loud kids, less wheelchairs, less strollers. It is Disney Parks heaven. Same trip we were coming back from the parks and heard this American screeching mother trying to control her family and kids. I was so embarrassed for her.

  3. I was there at the end of March and it was their Spring Break and while the rides were longer wait times, there wasn’t the pass thing for the shops. I think they must have that since the 40th anniversary just started.

  4. I of course would have created a storm lol No stand clear of the doors in Spanish?? Lol Waiting on Lu Ed I’m the one usually having the meltdown, thank god for my DAS.. I thought I was getting credit for A. S. S lol That’s not pirate boats.. Looks more like old whaling boats from Portugal or New Bedford MA… I miss our Snow White. I heard that one is pretty much the same as what DW had. Can’t wait for the rest of these!!

  5. Not surprised about the selfie stick rule. They haven't been allowed at WDW for several years. Also, Japanese do NOT eat while walking. So, I don't expect people would be eating in line. It's very bad manners to eat while walking around in Japan. They always sit down with their food, even snacks.

  6. The pirate ride looks like the one in Disneyland in CA. It's in New Orleans Square in the park there. Did it have 2 dips? The CA one has 2 dips and lasts double the time of WDW pirates. It makes the movies make more sense.

  7. The look of those cars on the dark rides looks very much like Paris. They’re pretty scary for young kids too. But that Beast ride looks amazing.

  8. Wow!
Tokyo Disney does look so different to the Orlando parks.
It seemed you had a lot of space and no bottlenecks or large crowds.
    A much more pleasant experience.
Beauty and the Beast ride looked so good.
We are enjoying your Tokyo vlogs and looking forward to the rest of the series. Although I don't think it's going to be good for my wallet 💰😂

  9. Hey Bazza's, great vlog. Loved the Beauty & The Beast Ride. Their rides seem to have a different twist to them! Everything appears to run like clock work. Keep enjoying your time in Japan x

  10. Love all the detail you guys go into – I noticed no happy dance going on small world 🤣🤣 looking forward to the next instalment 🌟

  11. Hiya 🤗 to visit Tokyo Disneyland is on my bucket list so I thoroughly enjoyed this vlog. I’m glad you enjoyed the Beauty and the Beast ride, it does look amazing ☺️ Good to know re having to book a place in some of the shops. I’m looking forward to the next instalment xxx

  12. Very interesting to hear your comments on the difference in rides. And that you did not exit via a merch shop every time. What a concept. I had noticed the clothing was quite different with very little actual Disney stuff. That must have been a lot of steps you walked. Also I did not see many snack stands …. or did you just avoid them. There was mention of ice cream at the beginning of the day.

  13. I’m loving the vlogs, so good, but some smashing memories for you both to look back on, such a well organised park, and quiet, Beauty and the Beast looked absolutely amazing, Maxine’s reaction said it all, Thankyou Barry and Maxine, looking forward to the next instalment xx 🤗

  14. Andy knows all the words to your theme tune and always singing it – must admit it is catchy.

  15. You said you had problems using your credit card on the website. Did you have any issues using your credit card with the app to pay for the Premiere Pass? Loving the vlogs ❤
