The district is also home to the Cutty Sark, which is a historic sailing ship that was built in the 19th century and is now a museum. The ship is located in a dry dock in Greenwich and is open to visitors.
In addition to its cultural attractions, Greenwich is also known for its parklands, which offer stunning views of the River Thames and the London skyline. Greenwich Park is the largest of these parks and is home to the Royal Observatory, as well as the Greenwich Meridian Line and several other historic features.
