  1. Jetstar was NOT rebranded from QantasLink. Qantas bought Impulse Airlines after Ansett collapsed and used its aircraft (717s initially) for Jetstar, basing the operation on the Impulse AOC.
    Once the A320s started arriving, Qantas took back the 717s.
    Jetstar was a rebrand of Impulse.
