The last week of May is the best time for catching Tulip blossoms. Takino Suzuran Hillside Government Park, Sapporo is a great place to spot them, and a couple of waterfalls.
We visited the park followed with a visit to Makomanai Cemetery, which houses Hill of the Buddha and many other interesting sculptures.
