The Infamous Peach Air was a short lived charter airline in the United Kingdom, known for their interestingly bland livery and late running aircraft they were around from 1996 until 1999.

It is amazing how so many airlines histories are connected, Peach Air followed on from Ambassador and looking beyond it’s parent company of Caledonian was heavily associated with Sabre and later Excel Airways…

Come with us and take a closer look at the history of Peach Air and find out why they are no longer around. No purple aircraft are featured in this video 😉

We’re a few episodes into the series now so let me know what you think works and what you think I should change for future episodes.

  1. I use to be a flight attendant for Peach Air. Loved the L1011, then moved to Caledonian and then to Air Atlanta Icelandic

  2. Also. Those air Atlanta tristar aircraft were not from Caledonian. 2 where ex Cathay Pacific and the third the Manchester based aircraft is ex TWA. 😉

  3. These videos are brilliant. Would you be able to do one on Paramount? They operated MD83s at Bristol and were previously an air taxi outfit – went bust very quickly. EDIT: Sorry! Just found the Paramount video! Great work.

  4. When will you do Monarch and TCX… need some more grounded I’m re watching 😂
