Poseidon’s Fury is now CLOSED FOREVER at Universal Studios Islands Of Adventure! This attraction has been open since 1999 and today was its final day of operation! We were there most of the day to escape the temple of Poseidon one last time and to try out our new Sony ZV-E1 4k camera! Let us know what you think!

  1. Cool video! I was wondering if any of the Florida vloggers that I watch were going to get the ZVE1, it's so perfect for that. If it can withstand the Florida heat the reported overheating issues will be put to rest. I've used it with NO PROBLEMS at all

  2. My name is Craig dennis i watch your new videos all the time i in joy all of your videos all the time you have a nice a nice day today and you take care today👍👍👍👍👍👍

  3. This is very well done thanks for posting. Looking forward to future vlogs.

  4. Gonna miss that attraction, it was one of my favorites. I was disappointed that it wasn’t open the last times I went, now it’s closing for ever☹️.

  5. I loved the campiness of this attraction. It was a fun break in the park day.
Rumor is that there is ongoing issues with plumbing and AC in the building and it's just to extensive and to expensive to continue running. It seems like they had done the recent referb to try and make it last until Kids Zone was finished and then they will work on rethemeing that area for a 2026 or later opening. I can't see them doing anything with the area until then still so it's just going to be a really empty area for a few years to come sadly

  6. If they had any balls left, they would make it a D&D land full of original rides inspired by role playing. Maybe make it interactive (HP wand/SMB punch block) and let your character's stats grow. D&D is literature so it would go with the original theme of IOA. The theming won't change much. In Poseidon put in a dark ride where you chose to be warrior/ranger/cleric/etc (Horizons style) and encounter mythical D&D beasts which you have to vanquish. Then in Sinbad a stage show with a D&D heroic party battling D&D villains.

  7. You could just go to the second floor of Me Ship, The Olive and use the free squirters.

  8. I do wish it was still the same as it was when it first opened. I loved the show it was before the change. The revamp wasn't without it's charm but Poseidon being the villain and voiced by Jeremy Irons was amazing. I'm interested in seeing what they do with it. Maybe they can change it into some other type of ruins but with Nintendo Land being put in another park it doesn't leave a lot of options.

  9. I think it would be a shame to lose part of the park with such lovely, unique theming. Not everything has to be IP-related. I guess some of it could be repurposed for Legend of Zelda if they went for more of a realistic look like Breath of the Wild or Twilight Princess. (ie Water Temple?) If it resembled Super Mario World that would be disappointing. I am a big Lord of the Rings fan but it would have to be done perfectly. I'd rather they not attempt it unless it really mimicked the Peter Jackson films exactly. Or, at least, the Alan Lee or John Howe drawings. I don't even like Harry Potter but the immersive theming of the park makes the world very enticing. Lord of the Rings would have to be that calibre.

  10. It would make the most sense to turn it into a Zelda-themed area. Poseidon fury could be a dungeon walkthrough for legend of Zelda.

  11. Disneyland should do the wristband thing for final splash so there’s no fighting to be the last in line for splash mountain there

  12. The camera footage looks good. Sound is good. I like it. Stop being self conscious about it. It’s a upgrade for sure

  13. I do hope they keep the theming of the land because it is so good. But that's about it. I just always wanted the show to be sit-down. Don't need more walking. Maybe universal will put some good sit down shows in the new park.

  14. last time I was there in February I spent at least $30 spraying people on Ripsaw Falls and Popeye's. I'll be back in June when it's nice and hot and lots of people are riding the water rides 🙂

  15. I'm glad I was able to meet you that day unfortunately my phone didn't work I never got the selfie lol but it was cool to see you I hope you come to cowfish soon :).

  16. Gorgeous theming, always my favorite part of the park… but not much of an attraction. I hope they keep the area, but put in a better attraction. We did it a couple times in the early naughties, then the kids did not want to spend the time in line for it. I do not think we went on it since '05? 😎

  17. I’m gonna miss the water tunnel. But maybe they will find a way to keep with what ever they put there.

  18. I remember my family and I going 22 years ago when it opened and we're like "what is this ride?" then we were surprised that it was a walk thru show. but we thought it was really cool and the water tunnel was awesome! I'll miss this attraction and especially the AC haha

  19. Had a completely different experience just ate at Mythos food is disgusting. Cold burger stale fries forgotten appetizers, charged twice for the burger I sent back wouldn’t eat here again even if it was free
