Welcome to Osaka, Japan! It’s our first time ever to Japan and we can’t wait to explore Osaka. In this video we make our way around this huge city, we have a hard time using public transit in Japan for the first time but we still manage to visit some key locations around the city. We start off at the beautiful Nakanoshima Park where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. We then head to Osaka Castle and late take public transit to Dotonbori. Here we walk around and stop for dumplings (gyoza) and highball at Gyozaoh! Dotonbori (https://goo.gl/maps/BD3X5c8txMWHPjF46).

We later head back to our hotel where we give you tour of our very small room. Book our hotel (Royal Park Canvas Osaka Kitahama) here: https://www.booking.com/hotel/jp/za-roiyarupakukiyanbasu-da-ban-bei-bang.en.html?aid=1287879&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2

I`ve met you in Akasaka mitsuke, Tokyo, at Itamae Sushi, I`m Juan, the Mexican worker that greet you at the end of your dinner with us, your videos are very cool, I have subscribed and some of the Itamae sushi staff did too, so you have new followers from your recent visit to tokyo!! good luck ๐Ÿ‘

  3. Yay!! So excited for you guys, Japan is high on our list too. Canโ€™t wait to see everything yโ€™all get up too! ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

  4. โ€œThe moral of the story is this: donโ€™t let all that get you down.โ€ Indeed, this can be applied to complex public transit systemsโ€ฆto travelโ€ฆor to life, really. Because, from what Iโ€™ve seen of Japan so far, itโ€™s definitely gonna be worth it ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต ๐Ÿคฉ.

  5. Been living in Japan for 15years, it took some time for me to get used to living here. Indeed, the trains were confusing at first, but now no problems at all. Yep, that card helps heaps. I don't like highball, but love lemon sour which is a sake with carbonated water and lemon juice.

  6. Jon is positively breathtaking, itโ€™s one of the most amazing countries around. One place I really would love to be right now is Japan, itโ€™s so clean and the food is just amazing ๐Ÿ˜

  7. Congratulations on number 50! It looks so pretty being there in spring with all the cherry blossoms out. When we went to Japan it was just before cherry blossom season and we kept just missing the blossoms as we moved north through the country. We got a bit lost with the train line in Osaka as well. The rest of the country is less confusing.

  9. Sorry did you not buy a jr pass before going? You might be the first people i have ever known to go to japan to not take advantage of that awsome deal.

  10. The train system in Japan is excellentโ€ฆ.you just need to do some research to figure it out! Love ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

  11. Hmmmm…you guys are from eastern Canada…Have you ever travelled to the province of Quebec? Where English signage on stores and roads is illegal except at the airport ? So why would you expect Japan to be more English?
    Cheers from Toronto.

  12. You two are awesome for covering the confusing (and imo messy) rail line situation! Not enough travelers cover this is an explicitly clear way the way you guys did. So, thank you!

Imo, makes no sense why anyone would let 3-4 different corporations build railways in the same area, and each kiosk has their distinct branding. I had a nightmare situation when I went to Tokyo in 2018. On my way back to Busan, hopped on the same Narita rail that brought me to Tokyo station, and a ticketing agent who spoke zero English told me "no, no, back Tokyo station, you go", I was so confused why she was sending me back. I got off in the middle of the countryside and went back to Tokyo station, only to find out I was on the correct rail. I ended up missing my flight back with standby of 5 days! I was SO angry at the ticketing agent and how illogically planned their rail system was.

  13. We just been there i have to use a translation to communicate to japanese . We are in tokyo

  14. You made it! I remember a few years ago asking if you would ever go to Japan. You said it was high on the bucket list and one day it will happen. And here you are! I was there in 2003 and 2010. Excited for this series! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿฃ
