WE RECENTLY TOOK A TRIP TO PUTRAJAYA AND WE NOTICED ALOT OF DIFFERENCES FROM KUALA LUMPUR‼️ WE HAVE SOME THINGS TO POINT OUT……

Where is Putrajaya?
Putrajaya, officially the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, is the administrative and judicial capital of Malaysia. The seat of the federal government of Malaysia was moved in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya because of overcrowding and congestion in the former, whilst the seat of the judiciary of Malaysia was later moved to Putrajaya in 2003.

Where Is Malaysia
Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country occupying parts of the Malay Peninsula and the island of Borneo. It’s known for its beaches, rainforests and mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian and European cultural influences.

  1. nobody told me we have the biggest mall in southeast asia but i felt it when i was there. why is this mall so big, took some time to get from one end to another

  2. I definitely agree with what you've said. Been livin adjacent to Putrajaya for two decades already, been thinking about not going to KL except when there's necessities to go there, it's too dense for me.

  3. Putrajaya has been the administrative center of the federal government of Malaysia since 1995.

The very strategic place and well-planned for the administration with the beautiful surroundings including lakes, landscapes and the mosque.

When you start to prefer for the beautiful and peaceful.places plus less noisy..meaning, you are getting older now guys! ..haha ✌🏻😄

  4. Putrajaya has the highest Human Development Index in Malaysia and also the highest gdp per capita in Malayaia. Same par as switzerland

  5. IOI City Mall Putrajaya is not just the biggest in South East Asia and also 2nd biggest in the world right now

  6. Tomorrow im going to Kuala Lumpur staying at an apartment in Berjaya Times Square and on Monday im going to use MRT to go to Putrajaya. Btw im from Ipoh. Hope u can come and visit my little hometown city in the north of Malaysia. ❤

  7. There are some nice olaces to settle down in Klang Valley area apart from KL and Putrajaya. You haven't seen the likes of Bukit Antarabangsa, Mont Kiara, Bangsar, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Cahaya SPK, and so much more, those places are to die for seriously and they're crazy expensive.

  8. Putrajaya is the latest government administrative centre. We do have traffic jams especially during the peak hours 😊

  9. Good luck for both u….please come to Penang Island…. it's Malaysia food heaven…surely u.ll try another piece of Malaysia feeling..beaches,hiking,etc

  10. If you're thinking of moving to the outskirts maybe you can find residency in Cyberjaya. Putrajaya is really for government staffs. All the homes there are reserved for public servants. For civilian or outsiders you can pick any one at Cyberjaya.

  11. Traffic jams in Putrajaya are usually in peak hours when government servants go to and back from work.

Just next to Putrajaya, there's Cyberjaya, the planned city that was supposed to be the Silicon Valley of Malaysia.

Man 6 months only in KL? You should definitely visit other cities in Malaysia, like Melaka, Penang, Kuantan, Penang, Johor Bahru, Ipoh, Kota Bahru and other small cities. Don't forget about Kuching, Kota Kinabalu & Semporna in Borneo island east of Peninsular Malaysia.

My favourite town to chill in is Cameron Highland in Pahang because of the slightly cooler weather and beautiful tea plantation scenery.

  12. As logical as comparing Canberra to Sydney or Washington to New York is comparing Putrajaya to KL. The administrative and judicial centre of Malaysia is Putrajaya. Due to crowding and congestion in KL, the Malaysian federal government's headquarters were relocated there in 1999. The Malaysian judiciary's headquarters were subsequently relocated there in 2003. According to the constitution, KL continues to serve as Malaysia's capital city. It also serves as the nation's commercial and financial hub, as well as being home to both the King and the national legislature.

The proposal for Putrajaya came from Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the former PM. Putrajaya's construction started in August 1995 and was finished for an estimated US$8.1 billion. After Labuan in 1984 and KL in 1974, Putrajaya became the third federal territory of Malaysia on February 1, 2001. MSC Malaysia, a special economic zone that encompasses the Klang Valley, includes Putrajaya as well. Of course, Putrajaya is less crowded than KL because the bulk of people there are government servants and the two cities serve different functions.

  13. Putrajaya traffic crowded at peak hours

    Weekdays
    7.00am – 9.00am
    4.30pm – 6.30pm

    Weekend
    None

Avoid this time if driving to putrajaya. Putrajaya is an administration state, other than weekdays peak hours, mostly no traffic jam

  14. I think that it all depends on what a person is looking for. For me, a city that is fully connected with public transportation, is near to all important facilities such as hospitals (notice the plural…not just one hospital!), shopping malls, and employment opportunities, is modern and is self-contained, and is easy to go to another city/town would get my vote. For me, Petaling Jaya has all of that. I love Putrajaya's greenery and landscaping but I don't like the fact that it's far away from my life here, and public transportation locations still leave a lot to be desired if compared to KL and Petaling Jaya. If a person works near Putrajaya (especially if he/she is a government servant), then it's a perfect match. Just my opinion.

  15. Hey guys, check out this guy Andrew Taylor…he in Malaysia for 8 years and he is American too..😬😬

  16. Alright guys time to booked your flight to Kota Kinabalu , Sabah ! We have harvest festival going on here by the end of this month and you might want to explore the other side of Malaysia hehe

  17. Thats a pretty fair and wise observation..the same reason why i moved out from KL and stay in a suburban area is to find peace..even though it takes hours for me to reach my office but at least i get to sleep at night peacefully

  18. If someone doesn't turn off their "Do not show others my subscriptions" button, they will not show as subscribers to you, although they are. I. appreciate this video; as an older person, KL looked a bit busy for me, so I'm looking forward to seeing other surrounding areas. Great content guys, well done!

  19. Experience village life is n kelantan, terengganu and pahang beaches and town which are on the east coast of peninsular malaysia.

Try engaging with tourism malaysia over there and they will bring you to experience the real cultural events.

I have not been there myself but ive seen travel bloggers going out with the tourism staff.

  20. That is why you have to explore other city in Malaysia besides Kuala Lumpur. Did you know there is a family from Texas that leaves in a village in the state of Terengganu ?

  21. Thanks! Been lookin for a chill suburban spot! ❤ the videos! Will you all be visiting Genting Highlands amusement parks?

  22. Putrajaya being the administrative capital of Malaysia is mostly inhabited by the civil servants. And some ppl just work there but stay elsewhere. I would compare it like Washington & NYC 😊 or Canberra & Sydney.
But adjacent to Putrajaya is Cyberjaya, the tech city if Msia. U will see more expatriates there and more cafes.
