In Japan, cherry blossoms (sakura) represent the impermanent nature of life; the flowers are so beautiful, but their life is short. Sakura is a central motif in the Japanese worship of nature, but they have also historically signified the short but colorful life of the samurai.

Spring in Japan is simply a magical season as the iconic sakura (cherry blossoms) blooms turn the whole country into a soft pink splendor. In this cinematic and romantic video, we went a day trip from Tokyo to walk under cherry blossoms in Kawazu and Matsuda Cherry Blossom Festival in rural Japan. It was so peaceful and we were so glad to see sakura in February.
