Road trip memories through the beautiful island of Hokkaido during the enchanting springtime! Yes, springtime – April – with snow 🙂 My friends and I explored the region’s top attractions, from the bustling city of Sapporo to the tranquil countryside, and everything in between. On this video here are some of the highlights from our adventure:
1. Sapporo – We kicked off our trip by enjoying some local brews at a beer garden, followed by a delicious Gengis Khan meal, a local dish made of grilled lamb and vegetables.
2. Countryside Exploration – We drove through picturesque towns and breathtaking landscapes, discovering hidden gems along the way.
3. Furano Ropeway – We took a scenic ride on the Furano Ropeway, admiring the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery.
4. Shirogane Blue Pond – We visited the stunning Shirogane Blue Pond, known for its crystal clear blue water and ethereal atmosphere.
5. Fukiage Snowshoe Hike – We went on a snowshoe hike in Fukiage, taking in the serene winter scenery and enjoying the fresh mountain air.
6. Fukiage Open Air Onsen – After our hike, we relaxed in a natural hot spring at the Fukiage Open Air Onsen, surrounded by the snow-capped mountains.
7. Lake Shikotsu – Finally, we visited Lake Shikotsu, a peaceful lake surrounded by lush forests and stunning mountain views.
