Welcome to my next Trip Report here on LM Trip Reports! This one focuses on my trip on Caledonian Sleeper in a First Class Berth from London Euston to Glasgow Central. This Trip Report was filmed whilst the MK3’s and MK2’s were still in use, and a separate video will be made in the future reviewing the new MK5 coaches. Join me as I showcase what’s on offer on the ‘Old Style’ sleepers, and travel up to Scotland overnight!

Leo’s Top Tip: Book early for the best value fares. At the time of this video, August 2018, the fares were being adjusted from what was originally available on the MK3’s, to what is now available on the MK5’s, so it wasn’t easy to do that during the changeover period, but once the MK5’s have settled into service, make sure you book enough in advanced and you can get some great value deals, especially with new family deals with Children. Also, the Ensuite available on the new MK5’s sounds awesome, so do try that out – more on that in my next Caledonian Sleeper video on the MK5’s in 2019.
