it’s our first full weekend in Tokyo Japan staying at the Hilton Tokyo Shinjuku and we decide to start exploring and trying the local food and drink.
We start with breakfast in the Hilton before heading out to look experience the beautiful Cherry Blossom trees that flower this time of year. Then we search for some local food from the supermarkets to the vending machines but end up in a small mom and pop restaurant in Shinjuku for the happy hour.
Next morning, we head towards the local government building observatory that offers some spectacular views over Tokyo, and it’s free!
Time then to pack up our stuff and catch many trains over to the Hilton Tokyo Bay, next to Disneyland Tokyo.
We explore the local food available in the hotel shop, have many beers in the bar for Dutch courage and try some of the “local” delicacies” in our room.

Great vlog really enjoyed it. The food looks rank 😂 xx
You both gave me the giggles with the toilet and food sampling. Enjoy your trip.
Wonderful vlog, Barry and Maxine. Extremely informative. Look forward to the next one 🌴🙂
Be sure to run to Japan in Epcot to see if they sell bags of deep fried squid when you have cravings 😂 I would starve in Japan
You got green on yours and I don’t… Cause it was mold Barry. I’m still undecided, was your poop talk worst then Jeff taking us into the bathroom to pee 😂. We definitely need more food vlogs with Maxine 😂😂
Hi loving it . Thanks for sharing.strawberry n cream on on bread .got to try . It did look nice . Have a lovely holiday see you on your next one x
Eating the different foods in your room was hilarious.
Oh my god I couldn’t stop laughing at the deep fried squid ! I buy some cat treats for my cats that are dried shrimps and they stink something terrible the cats love them but the smell 🤮 I’d love to go to Japan maybe one day lol
This is the sort of travel information I like – keeping it real. As someone with IBS toilet availability and condition is important to me. 🚽🧻
Enjoyed your video, Japan looks amazing, the blossoms on the trees is lovely, hope you feel better soon Barry, enjoy the rest of your hols in Japan, kind regards Carol.
Have not laughed this much in a long time. Thanks for sharing.
I've always wondered what people who swear by bidets, use to dry their butts after they wet them, bcz idk about you but i don't want to walk around with a soaking wet butt! lol that's just asking for a rash lool
Huffing & Puffing brilliant 😂😂😂
That was your funniest yet! ‘It could be a long meal’ as Mrs Bazza faffs about with her chopsticks, hilarious. Mrs Bazza seems to be thoroughly enjoying Japan 😂 more huffs and puffs than a steam train. Keep the comedy flowing.
You guys should just stick with American junk food instead….😂
A really good vlog… Very interesting seeing a totally different culture 😊
Loved this vlog, probably will never travel there so loved watching through your eyes, got to say 10 out of 10 for toilet roll information 🤣😂, those snacks lol, not your fav’s 🤣😂, smelly and mingin lol, the cherry blossom was beautiful, hope your ok Barry, hope you and Maxine are having a great time, you two are so lovely xx
Great view guys. Just sat down with a cuppa to watch u guys. Please don't talk about bum washers while I'm having my bacon butty 😂
When I’m in Japan, the bidets all have toilet paper. I stay at the local hotels (Forest Inn, New Otani and Dormy Inn).
Very British, lots of information regarding toilet roll, love it ❤❤
Hi both of you, ooer the toilet roll saga is intriguing 🙃😛ha! Breakfast at your hotel was pretty busy but Tokyo is a very very busy city for sure. The park & cherry blossoms are beautiful. And the Hilton Hotel looks really lovely and so close to Disney 🤩Ooh Barry youre so adventurous with food but some of those snacks didn't sound too good!!! So brave!!!ha Poor Max wasn't impressed too much either! ha! Am so glad you'd had drinks first to soften the blow just a bit!!!! 🤣 x
Try the green tea Kit Kats they were delicious, unlike raw squid or raw prawns which apparently is a delicacy!!
Hey guys what’s that app you used for translating menus? It will come in handy for our summer in south east Asia!
