Hey Mark, awesome video
Love Liverpool! Cheers
I'm a wool that lives in Liverpool but works in Chester and I love your videos! Thanks for showing off our city, we're happy to have you here! Hope you're enjoying Eurovision if you're still about!
"Soccer" what on earth is that? Never heard of it.
i flew from Houston to sit in the last row to watch a horrible 0-0 match against Southampton in late May 5/6 years ago. the guy next to me had come from Malaysia. even if you don’t go to a match go to Anfield and get your picture doing the pose
Americans know the area from british TV. one show on adopting dogs and the other about the zoo.
looks like a fantastic victorian city. that’s the also way in from dublin by ferry.
btw – flights from liverpool to dublin are like $49 and take 30 mins.
It’s impossible to understand what you are saying. Sound quality it bad . Please caption this episode.
You there for the Eurovision?
Apologies for the audio. We didn't have our normal camera gear. You can click on captions to be able to read what we are saying if you can't quite make it out.
😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hello from France
the biggest football club is rather Real Madrid with 14 Champions League against 9 in Liverpool
The best thing I did on my first of two visits last year was being on the pitch at Anfield for Elton John concert. Yes he was brilliant but hearing the crowd sing You’ll Never Walk Alone was just…… wow!.
So very many things you can do were missed. As well as Southport, you can also visit all of Liverpool's beautiful northern beaches of Ainsdale, Formby and Crosby, and all of their associated woodlands, parks, villages and reactional facilities.
As well as New Brighton on the Wirral, you can also visit Hamilton Square, the largest concentration of Grade 1 listed buildings after Trafalgar Square in London. Birkenhead Park the inspiration and model for Central Park in New York City. The Wirral Country Park and Wirral Way along all on the west coast of Wirral with its beaches at Hoylake, West Kirby, Caldy, Thurstaston, and Hewall, its woodlands and parks and Parkgate village. There's also Port Sunlight Village and park, and Eastham village and park and woods on the River Mersey. And the Blue Planet Aquarium at Cheshire Oaks.
You can take a Mersey Ferry tour along the River Mersey and up and down the Manchester Ship Canal, the massive working and historic canal that links Manchester to the River Mersey and Irish Sea.
There's also Croxteth Hall and Country Park, a big house and estate that was formerly the home of the Earls of Sefton, and which is now a big public park and animal farm with lots of activities.
In North Wales you can walk through and up to the top of the beautiful 1818 feet high Moel Famau country park. Where (especially on clear days) you get beautiful high-up views of Liverpool, Chester, Manchester, Blackpool Tower, and all the surrounding Merseyside, Cheshire and Lancashire countryside, along with the mountains and countryside of North Wales and the Irish Sea.
And so much more, too much to keep listing in this already long comment.
As Sheba said people spend £100s on football from Scandinavia! I work in Norway a lot and the last time I was flying back the gent sitting next to me was taking his son to his first Liverpool match, £500 each they paid excluding travel and accommodation costs!!! That’s more than my season ticket to Everton 🙈 🙈
I will certainly be adding the Tunnels to my Liverpool visit.
Interesting subject, but can’t take that Rumery verb. It’s dreadful.
I’d add the beaches at Crosby and Formby, Sefton Park in the south end of the city and nearby Lark Lane, which is full of restaurants and bars. All of which are great on a sunny day.
Why would you have UK adapted indian food during a visit? Why not have some Sunday roast, full English, all the pies, bangers and mash etc
Liverpool sounds like an awesome place to visit!❤
Love Liverpool
Woolton village and speke Hall.
I was in Liverpool on Christmas day in 2018. Basically everything was closed and nobody was out on the streets. One of these days I'll have to head back when it's fully alive and happening.
Are you enjoying any Eurovision action Mark?! Cheers.
Are you a Red or A blue Mark? You need to go to the top of Everton Park get the 17 bus there to Heyworth Street. You've got a view into the city over to the wirral the Welsh mountains and out into the Irish Sea 👍
The audio along with the guest accent made it hard for me to hear. Other than that good show
I'm from the Wirral – New Brighton is great…but please don't make a point to leave the City expecting better food in New Brighton! If you want to get out of the City centre for a scran then maybe check out Lark Lane, which is right next to the fantastic Sefton Park, or Smithdown Road. Woolton and Allerton also have some pretty decent places. Honestly though, you can't go wrong with Bold Street, the Ropewalks, or Baltic.
Liverpool F.C. my Arse
The biggest club in the world 🌎 Manchester United
Hey Mark, I'm so glad you finally made it over to Liverpool!! I can see you really enjoyed your time here and you could see firsthand that the stereotypes are not true and that it is a beautiful, friendly city with wonderful people. I wish more people would come 'up north' more then they visit the UK. England isn't just London.
🎉Come on, did you say soccer? Give us a break, it's football you tosser.
