After spending our first night in Japan in a cramped robot hotel in Tokyo’s Ginza district, we took a cross-country bullet train to class things up significantly: We’re spending two nights at the five-star Four Seasons Kyoto, where we’ll soak up their 800-year-old family-friendly luxury and devour our first bites of true Japanese sushi. But… why the long face?

ABOUT US
We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience—up close and in person—all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. We think it’s a better way to learn and we’re working hard to fund this little experiment in the hope that our kids will grow up wiser, kinder, and more grateful for the beauty of our diverse planet and its people.

Going to Japan next month, so I’ll be taking notes !!
Loved it,💓have a wonderful time there, God bless🙂
Nailed it Fam! 💯Ahhh this brings back so many good memories!🥹Loved watching it, especially from your perspective. I always enjoy listening to all the info you have to share with us.
And you’re right about the stations in Japan. They’re all SO clean! Actually everything in Japan seems to be spotless👌
The end…..Nelvine and I are dying!😭🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂
I loved watching your videos! Hope we can also visit Japan soon.
visit some countryside in japan❤😊
While in Japan you guys should dig on the cost of fruits and you'll have a whole other appreciation for the fruit platter that has been left in your room, not saying you are not appreciative, but check the cost of a pineapple or mango. In Japan, fruit is a gift.
the horse jokes were a little weird. kinda distasteful.
Seems like you enjoyed Japan! Hope you’ll go back soon
wai-wai-wait hollup, there wasn't a robo toilet in the robot hotel??? shame xD
Love your bloopers in the end.
6:04 hilarious! Your reaction to the toilet is perfect! 😂
This episode is so much fun, it’s so nice to meet friends while traveling. Kyoto is very nice and clean and the hotel big and beautiful. It was so funny, you got surprised by the toilet, more fun in
Japan 😆😆😆
I would love to see a tour of a Japanese garden, I love Japanese gardens ❤
Good to see both fam are together again
These videos are getting better. You guys definitely deserve a lot more subs which I’m sure will explode soon
lol that’s one of the high class toilet seats in Japan …automatic feature…common seats would have music for user privacy
You know why my face is long – work to do this morning while the wife is away – TOO OLD TO PLAY – so all
i have left is work. Clean this that garden wash bedding shop – i thought i was retired.
husband back to finish the fun – going back 28 – 30 years – we were sponsoring Japanese exchange students.
Our first very pretty young lady gave my wife a Kimono and did a traditional tea service for us and a neighbor.
The 2nd young lady came to play – very rich family – grandma lived close by but she did NOT want to stay with
family and have to toe the line. Daddy gave her a blank check to buy a new car. I had heard that Japanese kids
have to really work hard to get through high school and college was play time. When you finish your traveling and
your two young world travelers are back in traditional school, I bet they would like to spend the summer in Japan
with their bets friends. Great 20 min. story.
I sure hope that Mom Duty's family had a great time, which it sure looked like they did, when they were in Cebu. It's great seeing that your family and their family are together again. Have a wonderful time and love to see both of your channel's videos.
I was so close to visiting Japan at one point. I'm a Motion Capture actor and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit and work in Japan.
