Today we’re bringing you along on our two incredible days in Nara, Japan🙌 We had almost zero expectations aside from the deer park, and we were absolutely blown away!

We are Oskar & Dan, two boys from Sweden who decided to change the course of our lives, drop out of university, and live life full-time🧔🏻👱🏻‍♂️ We’ve been together for eight years and have been traveling together pretty much since day one✈️ In 2022, we completed our goal of visiting 100 countries at the age of 25 and now we’re back exploring some of our favorite places on a deeper level before visiting country 101, 102, etc…🌍 Check our YouTube About page for more details👨🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻❤️

Japan was country 38 (first visited in 2018)🌍

We started our trip in the Keihanshin region, which is Japan’s second largest metropolitan area after Tokyo, made up of the cities Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, and other smaller ones. After eight days around this region, we hopped on the Shinkansen bullet train twice, first to Hiroshima and then to Fukuoka. From there, we took a boat to Busan, South Korea (we were SO excited about this ferry ride between Japan and Korea!) before catching a train to Seoul and flying home from there!

Thank you for watching!🙏😍

  1. You guys are the best❤ We appreciate all of you SO much!

How CUTE are the deer but also…how STUNNING is Nara?! We'll be back for sure🙌

  2. I've been like the first subcriber since you 2 have shared your awesome trips, but I got to say this trip here is the almost first time I get to see YOU enjoy and relax on one of your trips. I know you 2 are chill on all your trips but it was wonderful to see you both truly relaxed!!

  3. Nara is first capitol of nation Japan. Kyoto is 2nd capitol, and Tokyo is 3rd capitol. No wonder essence of Japan is intense in in Nara.

  4. Went that moss burger too. Ate shrimp burger and loved it! Miyajima deers are calmer imo.

  5. I'm so glad you found Nara. I was there and Kyoto in 1968 when I was 22. I had the same opinion. Kyoto seems modern. Nara is encased in amber. Aside from Tokyo and Osaka, we spent three weeks in ryokans.

  6. Either those deer are genuinely really hungry or they’re just really good at begging. They were so cute! Nara is so beautiful and clean. I can’t wait for the Osaka vlog❤✈️

  7. I’m Japanese. Thank you for this lovely video. so lovely!! I’m a member of the deer protection in Nara and I have one thing I’d like to ask every tourist. If you found the baby deer with mom or being left alone, please do not touch them. It’s the peak season for deer giving birth in the park. Once human gets to close and touch baby deer the mom deer stop feeding the baby deer because of the human smell.
Please keep distance from the baby deer. Thank you. 👋🌸

  8. How relaxing and calm Nara is! I spent most of my childhood in Japan, but I visited Nara only once. Now I wanna visit there! Thank you for the video!

  9. Whack a kossa 😆 If you are feeling for more of Mr Dans jokes, he`s gonna take a chair up on stage because he`s a sitdown comedian!!!
As always, THE food – I`m geting hungry with my morning coffee.
    Have a good one.
    Love from home ❤

  10. Did you try the eye the same time of day? I had glasses too strong for years because I used to do the eye test late afternoon after which my eyes did't work so great after PC work the whole day. Try in the mornings maybe?

  11. As a person who's soon to be 36 rather than 26, I can definitely confirm that you're not getting old! 😄 Nara looks lovely, guys. I'm glad it still seems to have a peaceful atmosphere despite it becoming increasingly popular. Completely agree as well that Japanese gardens are something else and would love to actually see a Japanese garden in Japan itself one day. 😊
