BEST TRAVEL Adventure: KAWASAN Falls Cebu PHILIPPINES



This was probably the best day in my life when it comes to traveling! My friends and I visited Kawasan Falls at Cebu in the Philippines, a place we consider a must-do for all travelers who visit this beautiful country. The Kawasan falls are located in the west of Cebu. This place has become very popular for canyoneering due to the unique blue, turquoise color of the water and the many waterfalls. There are many cliffs to jump from, natural water slides and even swing trees! The canyoneering is taking more than 3 hours, thus an endless and fun adventure is guaranteed. The trip already starts quite adventurous. You will have to do backriding on the motor cycles up to the hill from where you can take a zipline to cross over to the top side to hike down to the canyon at where the Kawasan falls are located. The zipline is thrilling and it will save you roughly 45 minutes. Once arrived at the gorge, your adventure will start. The water is really warm, the sunlight not too strong, but certainly you will be lost in a real paradise on earth. The jungle, the water, everything is so beautiful. I felt the Kawasan falls is the most beautiful place to do canyoning / canyoneering in the world. So far, I have not been to any better one. This activity is really a must-do for everyone who visits Cebu. It’s an easy canyoning, even for first-timers like Nato it was really doable.

    No visit to the Philippines is memorable without visiting Cebu because Cebu has some of the most unforgettable adventures you'd ever experience in your travels anywhere. Canyoneering in Badian ending in Kawasan Falls is definitely at the top of the list but you can possibly do canyoneering too in other waterfalls systems in Cebu because most of the waterfalls systems in Cebu have multiple levels, numerous pools and falls/cascades.

    Cebu has the most beautiful and lush nature of any islands in the Philippines where it is very easy to explore as most of these natural attractions are very accessible via motor vehicles such as scooter, motor bike, or car. Even driving from the big city of Cebu City to either north or south, you can see the beautiful and lush vegetation hugging the highway as you drive further out. You can take a leisure drive on the mountains of Cebu and see the scenic passes, mountain ranges, verdant valleys, farmland and remote mountain villages and still find modern conveniences like automated water dispensers, snack shops, bakeries, etc.
