This time: the Shinkansen, sometimes called the bullet train, which set a new record for high-speed rail, 256km/h, in its trial runs. The inspiration for unlocking that incredible speed came from aerodynamic airplanes. Shinkansen technology is now being adopted around the world in places like the UK and Taiwan. This time, we discover the drama behind the creation of this high-speed invention.

  2. At approx. 4:10 this woman spews the typical garbage dumped on the pedestrian mentality, who obviously haven't learned what war is about. It's about profit & profit only, but only for those who rule. Trains are not for peace. Trains moved more troops & weaponry, more miles than all other means of transport combined…!!!

  3. Can’t get enough of Japan trains, moreso the Shinkansen. It is always one of the things I look forward to when visiting Japan.
