In the last video, after having matcha tea at the Eiffel Tower in France, I took a train to Frankfurt, Germany.
I was surprised by many things in France, but how will Germany surprise me for the first time being here?
This is my whole experience in Germany.
Let’s get started!

I'm from Germany and traveled to Japan from 12.-27.April. It was soo awesome 🥰 It's funny that I like japanese beer way more than the many german ones I've ever tried. I tried different Kirin drinks like craft beer, craft cola and ginger ale. Everything is soo much tastier in Japan. I like that these beverages are less bitter/sweeter and the ginger ale is spicier 💕
my favorite anime is Children of the Whales
It IS difficult to find vegan restaurants elsewhere than in big cities in Germany!!
Germany is just the European Japan
This was probably said by others before, but: There are toilets in shopping centres that you can use for free – it totally depends on where you are and which centre you're in.
For example in my city in northern Germany there's one centre where you can use the toilets for free, two where you CAN leave a tip but don't have to and others where I'm not actually sure 😀
So you don't have to pay everywhere 🙂
No you don't have to wear a mask and some people wearing them do so either bc they're sick or they're susceptible to sickness, maybe taking medication that lowers the immune defence (like cancer meds)
The 3D masks were FFP 2 Masks, they suppose to be better than the medical ones
All great cities similar over world. Frankfurt isn't good for learning German habits. You better visit castles or riversides, nice little villages. you are a teacher, make connections to a school to talk about japan schools. They like it in Germany. Have good time
Masks on the trains?! Stop. Not watching any more, sorry.
I would have turned around and left the country. Did you know about this requirement before buying your ticket?
Thank you ever so, so much for your appreciation of my hometown Frankfurt! Please come and visit this humble place again during the summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥰
That's funny- "ALMOST" and "SOME" – are the same words. "Almost nobody …" means "SOME PEOPLE …". 2 days ago only people wore masks who wanted to wear masks themselves. I live in Germany 20 years, I visited all German cities and I did not see vegan restaurants. Now in all restaurants there are vegan dishes. After this CRAP I think I live in Japan near Nuremberg.
I have lived in Heidelberg, Germany for 10yrs. I havent.come across a pay toilet here .
Hello Aki! Yes, I'm also one of the Germans who never went along with the mask nonsense. You could see in my country how well the US re-ed ucation and brain washi ng of the Germans has worked well since 1945 – until today. Even the third generation has been hammered with a sense of guilt that we Germans are the biggest criminals on earth. Germany is being completely dein dust rialized at the moment. The Germans endure everything silently – because they feel guilty for EVERYTHING. These are all things that are not allowed to be spoken in this country. – I hope you had a nice stay in Germany anyway. Kind regards from Rosl from Bavaria
I would love to visit Japan and you on the beautiful countryside! I am glad that we have a couple of "Japanese Gardens" in Germany. They have a great attraction for me. I also own two books about Japanese gardens with wonderful illustrations. P.S.: You made me a matcha drinker!
I am a political scientist and I tell you, masks are psychological warfare. Who wore masks in earlier times? Slaves.
what camera do you use?
The legal framework for the corona protection measures expired on April 7th in germany. This means that the last remaining measures have been eliminated – such as wearing an FFP2 mask when visiting a hospital or nursing home.
Wearing masks is therefore voluntary and is mainly worn by people with problematic previous illnesses or out of caution.
That's so great, I really hope you enjoyed your stay here in germany even if it was only a small cultural slice of germany. I really had to laugh, seeing you enjoy the german beer so much makes me want to have a few beer with you. Glad you liked it. And thanks for the Video I enjoyed it a lot.
My favourite Anime is Mob Psycho 100
😀 Very different experience for me in Frankfurt as I went there to get Five Guys 😀 Ended up also getting some Dunkin Donuts 😀
Pictures on menus are associated with low quality/more touristy restaurants.
7:29 ish The reason why some people still wear masks is because corona. During the pandemic, it was mandatory to wear these masks (called FFP2) because they are thicker and provide better protection. Wearing these masks was mandatory in public places such as supermarkets, etc. By the end of 2022, most places were mask-free, and the requirement to wear masks on public transportation was eliminated in February of this year.
I apologize for any mistakes English isn't my first language.
My Favourite Anime /Manga is "Fire Force","Bleach", "Death Note" and the Whole Mobile Suit Gundam Franchise
The low hanging 3-color traffic lights are mostly for bycicles 😅
I love the fact that no matter where you are you make matcha 😀 I guess not so suprising considering the name Samurai Matcha.
mangas and especially animes are really popular in germany, mostly by children, young adults and gamers.
Das erste was er gesehen hat war einfach Frankfurt hbf 🙁
The lack of pictures has multiple reasons. For one, you save money by not having to print images of every dish. Also it goes back to a time when many poor people couldn't read, so the restaurants for poor people would have pictures, while the ones for the upper classes would have descriptions. So not having pictures became a symbol of higher class.
楽しそうでした、また遊びに来てください ❤
The MyZeil Shopping Center (the one with the Hole) really has its own modern charm, which you dont see in Germany that often.
In Austria you don't have to pay for restrooms in Shopping malls, but at some public toilets or gas stations. Sometimes you can pay by card and get a voucher you can use in nearby restaurants or shops
I'm German and I could eat Japanese sausages non stop.
The bridge in cologne is very famous cause of all the locks there. Couples locked them there to symbolize how strong their love is. That's why there are often names on the locks and sometimes also the date when they felt in love and got together.
Liebe Grüße aus Frankfurt am Main 🙂
Konnichiwa! I make different instrumental music with Oriental Motifs. ⛩ I'm sure you will love it. If you like, so you can use my music in your future videos for free. Have an amazing day!
