After Beech Party, we check out a cool aviation nonprofit in Huntsville and head out on an IFR flight to Philadelphia International, and ATC didn’t like the reroute — either time!

I’ve been flying since I was 16 and at age 19 flew around the world by myself in the same 1981 A36 Beechcraft Bonanza I still fly, becoming the youngest person ever to solo circumnavigate by aircraft.
Now, I’m sharing all kinds of aviation adventures with YOU! Ride along as we explore the world from the air and get a close up look at some of aviation’s best flight experiences and destinations.

That re-route does not match up with the route that's in the video. It looks like you went north of the DC area and approached Philly from the Northwest.
Full expect to see a Philly Pretzel w/ cheese and a Philly Cheese Steak before bedtime!
Great flight and video. Thank you!
Winchester TN! Cool. Bill Kershner, after his retirement, lived up the mountain at Sewanee. He had some aerobatic C150s he kept at Winchester and did some aerobatic instructions there. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a friend's home in east TN, and got invited down to Sewanee – a very interesting place to land – and then to Winchester for a couple aerobat lessons. Long years ago.
Busy place Matt, very enjoyable.
G,day Matt from Sydney.
Did you "make the landing" in the engine out full motion simulator. You were low and in a turn?
🛩️🗿
I was waiting for the approach and landing at KROC. That's where I live and I haven't flown anything in here in quite awhile. Maybe next one. Thanks Matt, enjoyed this one! 8) –gary
Shout out to Rochester!!! What are you flying in for Matt? Been a life long resident here I’ve heard you mention it and wegmans food markets before but wasn’t sure if you have lived here in the past or what the connection is?!?! Would love to go flying with you sometime! Will pay for the gas if you ever have the time lol I’m sure that will never happen but had to throw it out there since you’re flying to my humble little city up north
Matt: what model of camera do you use on your wingtip? Any preference? I am installing one and would like to get some feedback. Thanks.😊
Cool content…… but…. where was ATC not happy?? All the interactions I could hear seemed perfectly amicable from both sides. I don't even know where you would be implying they weren't happy.
Seriously, you're videos are such great quality, but this click baity crap really detracts from them.
Good to see you not in a jet 😉
I missed it, when did ATC become not happy?
GVE direct PHL puts you right through the DC Flight Restricted Zone. Of course you can't go direct! I've had to fix many a flight plan as my southern brethren controllers don't know didly about the complex airspace from Washington to NY
10/10 landing
save the planet; end aviation as we know it C O 2
Great to have full 7HP video again!! Great show, thanks!
👍
“N367HP … maintain 170kts, 5 mile final.” “…..ok uhhhh was that 170 for 7HP?”
😂
Hi, I guess there is some place where an explanation can be found but I failed finding it. I am also lookig into avionics at the moment, and I couldn't find neither an autopilot nor a radio panel. Are you willing to share which avionics you are using to make this set-up happening? Thanks a lot for your vidos, I realy enjoy the aviation content! BR from Germany
That sunset was spectacular.
