  1. I missed this completely , i'm way busy these days sorry😒Thank you anyway T E 🙂👍!!!

  2. So far, Golden Week feels like a series of Sundays. People leave the cities at the beginning of the series of holidays, which would be Wednesday or last Saturday. I saw reports of the airports being packed, but once those two days pass, everyone is where they want to be. The people staying home just treats the holidays like any other Sunday. I hope this made sense.

  3. I walked through Takeshita-dori on a last December weekend and it was packed already. Everyone was hugging each other and there wasn't any space to walk. Regarding American tourists, I know four co-workers have either visited or plan to visit very soon. I'm also helping my friend plan a multi-family trip in June. The JNTO did a good job luring people here and creating pent up demand.

To top it off, mainland Chinese tourists aren't here in big numbers yet? Pre-pandemic, I heard Mandarin spoken everywhere. Now, I only hear a smattering, which leads me to believe that they're actually Taiwanese. I hear a lot of Vietnamese and Indonesian spoken.
