  1. Welcome to Glenwood Springs!
We hope you enjoyed your stay
We didn't enjoy your train engine idling in the yard ALL NIGHT LONG every other night for weeks on end, you guys were just out of earshot. we weren't

  2. My best friend and I are doing this next month. We are celebrating turning 60! Thanks for the video. We are so excited. Hope we are not disappointed. 😊

  3. I just love traveling by train. Believe it or not I've never been on a plane before. I always travel by train if I am not driving myself. One of these days I will get the sleeper car.

the seats on the train is nice. I like the viewing area with the black chairs. They look comfortable

  4. The train looks empty. Unfortunately this doesn't bode well for its long-term viability.

  5. That four-second look at the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood was nostalgic as my dad Glenn Hopkins owned it in the late '50s, I was the summer life guard at the pool that is no longer there. Teddy Roosevelt stayed there when he was bear hunting, that's how old it is. Memories….

  6. Nice video. Last US train I was on was the steam train in Ely in '13, a historical ride. My parents used to take the train from Fairfield CA to Reno, the CA Zephyr, which they loved.

My first train rides were the Double Decker train rides from Tinley Park IL into downtown Chicago in the early 60's. I've taken three Eurail trips between '87 and '91, those trains are amazing and quite scenic in the Alps, mountain scenery like that you share in this great video.

Last European train ride was Luzern to Lauterbrunnen and back in Switzerland in '17.

You speak well and serve as a great historian and guide!

  7. 😮Packages start at 1,247. I was thinking $300 .😢 I can never make that kind of money.Sadden that I will never get to ride such a beauty

  8. What camera do you use to shoot your videos. The shots you have are stunning. So crisp and clear. So hi def. I mean I have a bran new MacBook with a high end HD display but you have to be shooting HD video to be getting those stunning shots of the outdoors of America. Thank you

  9. Those suburbs west of Denver is where I call home 🤩 it’s cool to see our neighborhood in one of your vlogs!

  10. Excellent presentation. At the Hot Springs, Suzanne mentioned that the temperature was 45 Degrees. What time of year did you make the trip? And what do you recommend to be the best time to take it?

  11. In front of the big screen. Just like being there. Great camera work. The clay is much like the badlands in the river valley where I live.

  12. The price😅 is nowhere near worth it this train is for people who have more money than brains

  13. Thank you so much for sharing your trip.

My girlfriend and I will be taking this very trip next month (June 2023) and we are thrilled beyond measure.

This will be a once in a lifetime trip for us and your video is so informative and fun.

Do you have any tips or favourite spots along the route?

We are both avid and accomplished photographers.

    Thank you again.

  14. These are the same coaches used between Vancouver Pacific Central to Jasper/Banf. Kudos to the engineers and builders who created this marvel of a route

  15. I've seen some of the same content on other channels but, I really enjoy your style and presentation. Keep it up and, thanks.
