WILL I GET THERE ON TIME? | Camino de Santiago – Day 1 🇪🇸

So, this is the first day of my “Camino de Santiago” journey. I was supposed to start in Valença, as I am doing “Camino Português”, but I made a reservation in a random hostel (which I thought was in Valença), and it ended up being around 6km before, so I had to do those extra kms. I ended up doing around 27km in the first day. It was a very nice place, where I met some lovely people, including the owners of the hostel. The hostel was in a village called São Pedro da Torre. I arrived on Saturday afternoon, stayed the night, and started on Sunday morning, around 08h00 (PT). I arrived in O Porriño around 13h30 (ES). There were a lot of people there, as it was the start of the Holy week, Easter and some other celebrations. When I scheduled this week of holidays to do the Camino, I didn’t even realize it would be during that specific week. That also made me go a little faster than I would normally, in order to find a place to stay in, as everything was already fully booked, except for the public hostels of the Camino, where you can’t make a reservation, so it’s first come first serve. But the hostel in O Porriño has only around 50 beds…
