  1. I was feeling the music until the snails showed up and in my mind the groovy tunes shifted to horror sound effects.

  4. Is this in the same parking lot as Kasian Kreation ? Looks like it is ! Jeez I’m now going to have hard time choosing what to eat πŸ˜‹
    Mahalo for showing this πŸ€™

  5. I've gone to buffets just for the snow crab but it didn't look as good as what you two got! Neal and I were trying to figure out your tshirt- I think it said savers, but he thinks it's Slayer? Halp πŸ˜‚ at any rate that looks like a great atmosphere and wonderful food. Forgive me for asking but was that Femme Nu in the background? πŸ˜… Mahalos again for another wonderful and informative video! Your friend seems super cool too. Much Aloha from Maine! πŸ€™πŸ’

  6. Vietnamese coriander/mint, yup. Rau ram, in Vietnamese. Very strong and particular. My mom would use it with bun/rice vermicelli dishes, seafood, and classically with balut for the Vietnamese. Not so much for pho. The vibe there seems perfect for the humid summer nights of Vietnam or Kapiolani Blvd. Appreciate the vid!

  7. Aloha Misty and Braddah Tatz, always good seeing the two of you collaborating. Food looked good (especially the scallops, lobster and crab too) and the atmosphere outside looks like fun too. Have a great weekend.

  8. Aloha Misty πŸ€™πŸ½Food looks so ono πŸ˜‹ and I would get gout if I had all that seafood lol. Like the vibes making me miss home so much❀keep up the great vlogs. Have a good weekend!

  9. I Love when you two do calibrations together. πŸ’™πŸ˜Šβ€οΈ Everything looks so good; I’m always on board for seafood and delicious Vietnamese food! πŸ¦ͺ🦐🐚πŸ₯’

Misty, you’re not cheap, you’re a hard working single mother, and you give your son a wonderful life. He’s been blessed with more wonderful vacations in his young life then some people who are 70. πŸ˜Šβ€οΈβœοΈπŸ™πŸ»

  10. Amazing that all came from a truck! Thanks for another gem.
Good call on skipping the Dungeness cuz it's too late in the year (smaller size & not as sweet).
Hope no one ended up with gout.
    Have a great weekend.

  11. Hey misty, it’s nice to see another guest, I think I’ve seen that an before on one of my friends channel a few years ago and her name is Beth, she’s also from Hawaii. I love Vietnamese food, the spring rolls and scallops looked so good, don’t know if I could ever try snails though πŸ™ˆ I’m afraid of those.

  12. πŸ˜‹ All that food looked really delicious…and really expensive. YOLO! See you guys next week.

  13. Yes, I agree πŸ’―β€¦wine is good for you 😁. That was a damn huge oyster!!! Yummmmm πŸ˜‹
I enjoy Vietnamese and Thai food! Food looks so dee-lish. Nice to see lots of seating. Good to see you with bruddah Tatz again πŸ€™πŸΌ.

  14. Good for you for speaking Vietnamese at 6:48. The food looks really good but I’m surprise you did not get shrimp to go with all that goodness.

  15. Aloha Misty, I recorded this video for Nhi to show her the outside of it and she was impressed. The food you showed is impressive. I can't eat it but Nhi can. And I can def eat that spring roll. That sound Braddah Tatz made at the 8min 33 sec mark while biting into it made me wanna go check it out. And I would give someone a weird look if they told me they don't like garlic and butter. Lol. Just curious, why are you practicing Vietnamese? I remember you saying that before. I gave up after 6 weeks and said "I think I'll just ask Nhi to translate when I speak to her parents ". So much credit to you because it's such a hard language. πŸ€™πŸ‘ Mahalo for another great review!πŸ˜‹

  16. Aloha Misty and Braddah Tatz: That was a great collaborative vlog showing great, and delicious, Vietnamese-style seafood at Saigon Grill. Amazing that it was served outdoors in the evening hours, which brings back the time I visited Hong Kong. For seafood, I would have paired a chablis wine; I find that the dryness will not overcome the taste of the seafood β€” just my opinion. Nice to see you both enjoying a great time on Kapiolani Blvd. Looking forward to your next vlog showcasing the delicious, and eye-appealing, food of our hometown. Best wishes, and regards, to you, the ohana, and friends. Much πŸ€™& 🧧, my fellow 🐯-alumni!

  17. Interesting video because I have a friend from VIETNAM and his name is TRON,nice guy and very quiet just like me. And I know where they live
