UA900 from SAN executes an ATC-ordered go-around from the approach to 28L after the Cathay Pacific 747 from HKG for 28R. ATC asked Cathay to “slow and avoid overtaking United 757 on your left.” Cathay responded they were at “minimum speed” and after our pilot couldn’t speed up sufficiently, a go-around was ordered.” Filmed from seat 8F. Our pilot later asked ATC “why – exactly – were we sent around??”

  1. Están muy cerca uno de otro, no están respetando la distancia entre ellos que señala los standares de seguridad en vuelo….es un riesgo…

  2. The terrible thing about the go-around is you know that’ll be an extra 25-30 minutes on your flight.

  3. Летел с Испании ,реактивные лайнеры несколько раз пересекали курс рчень близко

  4. Beautiful and very particular sound of the Boeing 757 engines. Unforgettable and unmistakable sound.
