Today I want to show you 6 of my favourite noodles soup shops across Bangkok so that you can get this amazing Thai street food classic no matter where you are in the city.

#1 Pee Nam Waan Tom Yum Noodles

First we’re down a back soi for some unbelievable tom yum noodles at Pee Nam Waan Kuay Teow Tom Yum for 50 THB a large bowl – £1.16 / $1.31

#2 Pa Krim Pla – Khun Sai Jai
ปากริมปลา คุณสายใจ

Next we head to Baan Yuan or Vietnamese Village to eat a super rare version of Guay Jub Yuan with fish instead of pork. I have never seen these ‘Vietnamese’ noodles with fish anywhere and to make them even more unique, they come in chicken stock, not pork stock. This is Thailand’s answer to Bánh Canh in Vietnam.

#3 Baan Suan Ing Nam Boat Noodles (บ้านสวนอิงน้ำ)

Not technically in Bangkok but it’s so close I had to include it. I headed to Nonthaburi to a canal-side restaurant called Baan Suan Ing Naam (บ้านสวนอิงน้ำ), a beautiful little spot on the canal in Pak Kret serving excellent boat noodles.

#4 Guay Jub Nam Khon Jae Ju (ก๋วยจั๊บน้ำข้น เจ๊จู)

Guay Jub Nam Khon Jae Ju (ก๋วยจั๊บน้ำข้น เจ๊จู), as the name suggests, is famous for a Thai-Chinese rolled noodle soup called guay jub (sometimes spelled kyay jub, kuay jab or guay jap). The difference here compared to the more famous Mr Joe Crispy Pork and Nai Ek Rolled noodles is that this version comes with a rich dark broth with Chinese spices.

#5 Guay Tiew Na Soi
This crazy popular Thai chicken noodle soup buffet is crazy good value, starting at just 50 baht or around $1.50. For that you get a giant bowl of
Thai chicken noodles and then you can top it with as much as you like. For an extra 30 baht, you can get the special which with get you a whole melt in your mouth chicken leg as well.

#6 Wat Dong Mun Lek Beef Noodles

Wat Dong Mun Lek Beef Noodles is a 70 year year old Thai beef noodle soup kuay teow neua ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเนื้อตุ๋น with @keis one and what an experience it was!

We tried the beef noodles with everything 80 baht, the kobe and shank special 130 baht and beef satay 100 baht per 10 skewers.

This was the best satay I’ve had in Thailand without a doubt and the kuay teow was insanely good as well!
