This week we continued our journey back to Kentucky and decided to make it a bit sooner than expected. I went for my final hike in Colorado and then we hit the road for the Bluegrass State! I mapped my way back, making sure that we had a safe place to sleep and a nice park to work at each day. Not much fun on this drive but there were certainly some surprising views!

    Having just completed an expedited run from NM to home-base in WI in 3 days, I understand what you've just gone through. Well, went through three weeks ago, lol. I think you had lots more to consider, what with a job and two dogs needing your attention on top of all that driving, so bravo for plowing through that gracefully and successfully. Bummer about the hiking boots, though. The replacements look good. And comfortable. Hope the baby shower was fun. When will you become an Aunt, or has that happened already?
