This is shot from Shizuoka, Japan. We were on a trip during the golden week vacation(every year end of April to nearly 10 days). And we happened to stop by one of the service areas (a moderately big parking lot with restaurants, toilets, gas stations and what not!). We slept in the car at night and woke up by 5:30, by the time the sun was almost above the horizon. Luckily we were stopped by one of the scenic areas in Shizuoka. The greenish mountains and valleys made the sunrise so beautiful.
