@shinjyuku_kabukiyokocho is the newest Food Hall in #Tokyo and itβs a great place to come with friends for a good time. π
Each section serves dishes from a specific region of Japan so part of the fun is choosing. Themed to a Japanese festival, Kabukicho Yokocho is colorful and lively. It can also get noisy so be prepared.

I'll make time next week to try it out, but after 30 years in Japan, I have to say I am kind of tired of "traditional" Japanese food. It's basically karaaage, or some form of fried potato. Compare this with walking through the night markets in Taiwan, Bangkok, Vietnam or Pusan. The variety makes me cry. So amazing. Maybe I'm just jaded.
Nope, not my kind of place, but that was a charming vud.
Adding another spot to our groups list of places to hit
Kabukicho has a bit of a seedy reputation still. Different regional dishes under one roof sounds interesting though … if there is variety enough for a vegetarian like me.
Dear TabiEats,
When i dislocated my knee you replied to a comment about it and wished me a good recovery. I have recovered very well all thanks to your well-wishes π
Maybe when I was younger but I'm more reserved now. I'd prefer just a small local place.
Looks noisy, overly crowded, migraine inducing; not my cup of tea.
