Flying with Skytrax’s Best Low-Cost Airline Premium Cabin Award winner for 6 consecutive years. This is AirAsia X’s Business Class which is called by the airlines as “Premium FlatBed”. The flight is operated by Thai AirAsia X, a Thai subsidiary of AirAsia Group’s the long-haul low cost brand “AirAsia X”.
Thai AirAsia X just launched a daily service between its hub at Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport and Nagoya Chubu Centrair International Airport which is its 4th destination in Japan starting from 30 October 2018.
AirAsia X utilizes Airbus A330-300, a widebody airliner, for its operation. The typical seating configuration of Premium FlatBed Class is 12 Seats with 2-2-2 layout at the foremost section of the cabin. The seat is 20 inch width and 60 inch pitch and converted to 76 inch flat bed with 170 degree recline. No personal screen or entertainment option equipped with the seat but there are individual power outlet, reading lamp and privacy divider screen. Pillow and duvet are available for in-flight usage. Apart from 1 free meal and water, other food and drink can be purchased.
The services included with Premium Flatbed ticket are 1 meal service, drinking water, 40 kg of luggage allowance, priority check-in, priority boarding and priority luggage. However, lounge is not available for flights departing from Bangkok.
